Goal line technology in Championship

Post by ClaretTony » Sat Jul 08, 2017 9:25 am

This coming season sees goal line technology introduced into the Championship. Two years earlier and that goal at Brighton would have stood and so would this one which would have seen Everton relegated in 1997/98.

Didn't Rovers have a goal against them awarded which if disallowed would've lead to them getting 3 points and possibly staying up as a result?

This last season.

Swings and roundabouts - QPR had one disallowed against them in a 1-0 defeat

I remember the Everton one, I was at a Darts Match, well into the Bitter and 15 yards away from a low quality 20" inch screen but even I could see it was a goal in real time!
