Xpert11 is an online football management game that lets you build a team, set the tactics, make the press releases all whilst competing against like-minded people. It can take as little as 10 minutes a week to as much as 20 minutes an hour if you get hooked.

We have a Clarets Championship where there are currently 40+ active teams managed by Clarets fans. We're about to enter our 53rd season.

If this sounds even slightly interesting to you then why not give it a go? I'll then need to approve the application which will take up to a maximum of 24 hours.

You will be able to either take over an existing team that's sacked it's manager (for inactivity, not poor performance - you can be as poor as you want and stay in the job!) or start up an entirely new team.

The season will be a week or three away from starting but best to sign up now to get in before the door closes and so you can get the most from pre-season.

Well promotion was swiftly followed by relegation. A prolonged stop in the bottom tier may now follow as we look to rebuild the squad.

Somehow desperately managed to avoid being relegated again on the last day.

As another season draws to a close, I am looking for a couple of new managers to join the Xpert11 fold.

The Clarets Championship will shortly enter its 65th season, old enough to draw a pension (in Xpert11 years) but still going strong with 36 teams fighting for the coveted title.

If you're reading this and have never played before, please consider giving it a bash. You don't need any experience to get a hang of the game, it's very easy to pick up, and it takes only a few minutes a week to set up your tactics and training etc.

If you're a lapsed member, equally we would love you back.

There are currently two teams in need of new managers, AAFC Aardvark in particular are an interesting one. The previous manager has left them with an absolute goldmine of cash, but a very poor squad. Could be a ton of fun to rebuild.

Alternatively, you could apply to start a brand new team from scratch in the bottom division.

Fun game that doesn't require a lot of time. My team just absolutely stank out the top flight, but I still enjoyed it!

I believe I have been added to the waiting list for an existing team.

I think there will be a couple of clubs available soon as a couple of managers haven't shown up for the new season.

I don't use the app, no.

Desktop version on phone and computer is fine.

Having issues with the website seems much flakier than it was last time I played about 18 months. Have had to resort to the App

Hello all, league admin here.

I have 3 applications in my queue (I had 4 in the queue but let ClaretDes take over an inactive team yesterday).

Unfortunately because it is mid-season I cannot accept you at this moment (game doesn't let me unless there is an inactive team, or with 2 weeks left of the season for new team applications). There is one inactive manager who I have sent a reminder email to yesterday, and will inactivate the team if no log-in by Tuesday.

However it seems that the applications of Andybarty, MancunianClaret and CALALAN are all for 'new teams' so you may have to wait until end of season, or re-apply for an existing. I'll post on here on Tuesday if the position comes up.

I've just sent another 2 reminders to managers who haven't logged in for 20 days. So could be 3 teams available by this time next week.

Let me know if you want any help or tips. It can be a bit overwhelming at first but once you get the hang of it it's quite simple to navigate.

If you want any advice or help just chuck a message on here, or in the league forum on X11.

Cavan_Claret, Jjjack and IntolerantElf (xpert11 usernames, not sure if you're using same handles here), I've seen your applications to join but at the moment there are no teams available.

If any managers stop turning up I will let you take over their teams. Otherwise, it will be just before the current season ends in mid-July that I can let you set up new teams.

Gotta say, I'm starting to learn to navigate my way around - quite fun so far. And definitely enjoy the lack of adverts, or needing to pay/grind to win games. Thanks for introducing me to this.

Beware! You'll end up managing 6 teams in various leagues sooner than you can think.

You've been given new teams as the season is almost finished. I would recommend arranging some friendly matches with one another before the season finishes in 2 weeks time and the other teams become available to play friendlies with.

Hi again all, season 66 is now completed.

Congratulations to Fenderbaum and AAFC Vole, who have won the Clarets Championship for the very first time.

Season 67 is just around the corner, and with three new teams joining the bottom division now is a great time for any other new managers to join, as you'll all be in the same boat, and could develop a healthy rivarly!

Really enjoying the new season with my team Dukla Prague. Relegated last season but currently topping Div 2. Starting to get the hang of things I think - having a clear out of a load of dead wood helped!

Lol, I didn't win a single game last season and had a similarly poor goal difference!

The Clarets Championship is getting spicy this season.

I've been playing about 8 months now and I'm really addicted. I have two teams in different leagues, although I do really enjoy the Clarets league the most. Not sure if there are any teams needing a manager, maybe Falcon can advise, but if you're thinking of giving it a go I recommend it.
