Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Awful! Not the strip (nice design) but the sponsor`s logo takes over completely.

It would be ok, but that big blue chip does completely ruin it.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Stop being so positive, they are the only three players we have left.
The rest have been sold, and we will we be told about, er, "next week"

Would be much better if the writing was level with the chip. It just looks amateurish like that.
The kit on its own is nice.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
What a shame that they've gone and ruined a rather nice kit.
Do you think in 60 years time they'll be wearing "retro" dafabet and this malarky shirts?
I don't think so.

Looks like they’ve recycled last season’s away socks and the Home shorts from two seasons ago.Grimsdale wrote:Glad to see the white shorts and socks back.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
The design of the shirt is superb
Sponsor spoils it but wouldn’t be too bad if it was placed a little lower.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Bloody awful imo
I doesn't even look like it's properly aligned either. It looks like the chip has slipped when they were printing it,I think its done like that because the chip is so ******* massive that it would have cut into the club crest

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
The problem I see with it is that the chip looks massive and it's in blue. Would have been somewhat more bearable if the sponsor's logo was in white only. As it is, it looks absolutely awful.

I think some of you would have preferred the chip to be on the shoulder

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Who else went "Who...?" for the club sponsor...?
https://www.laba360.co.uk/#/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
looks like their branding is Claret and Blue - is that as a result of the link with us, or did they have that before the deal?

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Umbro have done a really good job with their kits for this season. Would love to see them making our strips next season
Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
The sponsors logo is exactly as it is on their website. The LaBa is perfectly aligned with the 360. Its just the chinese writing above it that makes it look offset.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
When you can't read a writing in foreign script on a football top of your home town and when the English script on it makes no grammatical sense nor is identifiable to anything at all and when the illustration to go with it is meaningless then one knows the is SOMETHING VERY DEEPLY WRONG IN THAT CULTURE.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Also impressive that the article on the official website has a link saying "TO PRE-ORDER, PLEASE CLICK HERE" but when you click on the link they're not actually on the Club Store website (although you can buy some sleeve badges). You'd have thought that they may have coordinated the two.
(And obviously the logo is terrible.)

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
nice, simple kit.
not arsed about the logo, its not much bigger than what we usually have and at least they've kept it the same colours as the kit unlike the oak furniture land travesty.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
The issue for me is the round neck, really don't like it.

Nice to see us not have a generic Puma kit.
Price of an adult shirt has increased to £45.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
I like it, particularly the V. Biggest concern is the collar.
Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Do you think we could get a kit which makes Tarks ears look a little smaller ?

He’s right. It made much more sense when our shirts said ‘POCO’.Pstotto wrote:When you can't read a writing in foreign script on a football top of your home town and when the English script on it makes no grammatical sense nor is identifiable to anything at all and when the illustration to go with it is meaningless then one knows the is SOMETHING VERY DEEPLY WRONG IN THAT CULTURE.

Re: 2018/19 Home Kit
Kit itself is fine. Sponsor logo , as a few have said , is too high. Pity we won't be seeing Tarks in an England shirt tomorrow night.

To be fair last seasons was modelled by a certain Andre Gray.Vegas Claret wrote:I'm just happy the 3 lads wearing it are still wearing it !
Yes it's a terrible culture we live in that a chinese betting company would pay us $$$$$s in a record breaking deal to have their name on our shirt. People complain about buying things from China but also the other way round? Fantastic to see that they are willing to offer us so much mulah myself.Pstotto wrote:When you can't read a writing in foreign script on a football top of your home town and when the English script on it makes no grammatical sense nor is identifiable to anything at all and when the illustration to go with it is meaningless then one knows the is SOMETHING VERY DEEPLY WRONG IN THAT CULTURE.
And yes, it looks awful.
