Only Lindegaard registered. It might only be a request to get the 4th keeper Legzidis on the bench for the game.

Bruce is registered.

You had the chance to register Legzidis when the squads were submitted for thie round but chose not to - instead choosing to use that spot to register another outfield player.

Forgive my ignorance but who is Bruce?

He's the other goalkeeper you have registered in the Europa League squad.

Bruce is the under-23 goalkeeper. He would have been registered to fulfil the requirement to have four club-trained players in the 25.

As for Fello, when the original squad of 25 was issued, we had 3 fit goalkeepers. I don't know if Aberdeen nominated four goalkeepers in their squad in case three of them got injured, but I doubt it.

Exactly the same as Burnley, Aberdeen have 4 goalkeepers registered.

You already have 4 goalkeepers registered. 2 are injured. You still have 2 for the 2nd leg! You could have registered Legzdins but chose to register Bruce instead so you could name an extra over-age outfield player! Can't have it both ways.

That is incorrect, we have asked to register Legzdins.

If we're talking about behaviour at parties I'm surprised you're not excited about the prospect of an under-ager.

To try and keep it simple: the 25-man squad has to have 4 players who came spent 3 years at the club between age 15 and 21. If you don't have 4, the squad size is reduced proportionately. Bruce qualifies for this; Legzdins doesn't. Burnley didn't want to name 4 goalkeepers in the 21 non-club trained players.

That’s far too reasonable for English scumbags like us.

We chose to not register Legzdins on purpose so we can now sign Buffon for one game to spite Aberdeen.

I don't see how what Fello says is so unreasonable. We could have quite easily registered Legzdins and sacrificed an outfield player instead, say Wells or Walters but we chose not to. I don't think it'd be fair for UEFA to give us dispensation to bring another keeper into the squad.

...and then watch Aberdeen forwards kick ten bells out of Lindegaard in the first 10 minutes knowing we have no backup on the bench

What are the rules regarding Europa League squads? I have to admit to knowing absolutely nothing about them :)

Is there still a 25 man squad limit for the Premier League?

If so, how many do we currently have?

At least I know this one (well, I think I do), It's 25 senior players containing 8 home-grown and any amount of under 21s

Thought as much.

By my reckoning, we currently have 22 senior players... I could be wrong though!

Ahhhhh bless Fello, getting to the vinegar strike thinking they might be able to nobble another of our keepers to give them a chance. So cute.

For the Aberdeen matches, we had to pick 25 maximum players, including 4 who have come through the club's youth team, and 4 more who have come through another English club's youth team.

So allowing for the fact that we don't have any first team players who came through our youth team, that means we can list 21 first team players + 4 untested younger ones. Obviously Dyche made the mistake of thinking 3 fit goalkeepers was enough.

We can pick a completely new 25-man squad for the Turkish matches, if we get there.

We tried to sign at least one keeper on the list Forster and are just about to sign one Hart.

I should be on the scouting team don't you think?

Hey credit where it's due mate but I'm sure most of us realistically didn't think we'd sign Joe Hart
