Any Electricians that could help ?

Hi just wondered if theres any electricians on here or any one generally clued up .

I have 2 devices that both have on the : Power Type 3kW, 12.5A Voltage 230

I need to run these through extension cables . The extensions I have are 13amp and 3000kw rating .

At the moment I need to run each though a separate extension into the mains for it to work .

Is it possible to find an extension cable that could comfortably run both ?

Not safely ,the loading is too high to try to run these two on the same lead.

What length are your extension leads, are they the roll up cassette type and what are you plugging them into?

Growing weed takes some serious power, apparently.

i assume you mean 13amp 3,000W (3kW).

Even so, you can't plug them both into the same extension, and please don't use an
adapter in the wall socket which is tantamount to the same thing. With those power
ratings don't use a coiled up extension either - it will get very hot and could even melt - it
must be a straight uncoiled run.

Can they be hardwired, i.e. flat grey cable?
If so, 2 X 2.5 twin and earth might do it unless it's a very long cable run.

If that is done, they should be part of the ring main and not on the same spur.
Separate, independent fused spurs might be ok, but I wouldn't risk it TBH.

You would be better, and much safer, getting an electrician to look at it for you.
