Dyche portrait

Post by Phoenixknight » Fri Aug 17, 2018 8:50 pm

Now that the painting of Sean has gone.
Don't we all think that there should be another one..
.but where should it be..?.would love the artist to do another somewhere near the ground.

Or one the hill up to Crown Point so you can see it from the Longside upper!

This has come up on numerous threads since the (brilliant) other one was removed. There must be somewhere prominent in or around town on a main drag for Graffia to re do their stuff.

Its been suggested to get murals down the path adjacent to the cricketclub. And trying to get local artists / students involved. But suspect it may be cost prohibitive.

You could do one to match the one of Judas Horseface at the bottom of one of the bogs in the Bob Lord.

I think the Culvert bridge is an ideal choice but it would better if it was something like Our Town Our Turf rather than a mural as SD, sadly, will likely not be with us for ever.

Corky, are you trying to start a rumour? Don't even think that, unless you're a Horse Botherer, like the Hydra. Are you?

Side wall of the Turf Hotel would be ideal.

I am sure not many of you know who Travis Scott is, but he has recently released an album.

His artwork is a giant inflatable head with a walkway through his mouth (See image below)

I am sure we could commission a Dyche head and the end of the tunnel leading the players out onto the pitch?

This is a joke
