Currently working my way through the original series on Netflix on series 2 episode 16 "The gamesters of Triskelion" next up tomorrow...

Series 2 of the Orville is out now also. Hilarious, fantastic characters and really well made. Good T.V. :lol:

Has anyone watched Orville? MacFarlane is a big trekkie and I've been told it's far better than the recent Star Trek series themselves.

It apparently starts off humourous but starts to get more and more intricate, especially in season 3.

I haven't seen it yet but it's supposed to be more like star trek of old rather than trying to entertain a new audience like discovery.

the orville is hugely derivative but the current series (3) has been very good with some great writing.
