Yellowjackets on paramount+ and now on sky Atlantic.

The final season of Succession has also begun, all three previous seasons are available for catch up.

Beef- Bizarrely brilliant.

The Night Agent - decent.

Currently just started Dead Ringers with Rachel Weisz, not for the faint hearted I can tell you.

The Last of Us sci-fi drama series based on the bestselling computer game is getting plenty of advertising, available to watch in the UK on Sky and NOW TV, looks like they are only releasing episodes once a week.
Any thoughts on this series, please?

Some recs from me.

Just about to finish Living With Yourself on Netflix. Very good. Paul Rudd as a depressed guy who gets a little known illegal spa treatment which creates a clone of himself, also played by Rudd obviously. Aisling Bea plays his wife Kate. What a trajectory she's on.

Also watched Inside Man recently. BBC and Netflix. Written/produced by Steven Moffatt, Former crime lecturer now on death row (Stanley Tucci) helps people try and solve cases, with one being a missing woman who was last scene at the home of a popular vicar (David Tennant). First couple of episodes are decent enough and it looks impressive but there are quite a few plotholes and stretches.

Colin From Accounts. Binge/Foxtel in Australia. Available on iPlayer. A really tight, moreish rom com about two strangers who are united by an injured dog. Written and produced by the two main actors who are also together in real life.

Watched The Pez Outlaw on Netflix yesterday. Documentary about an eccentric, cereal box collecting hillbilly and how he becomes a pain in the @rse for the people at Pez, the candy dispenser company big in the 90s. Really well put together documentary.

Good call , this is seemingly still under the radar . The 1st 3 seasons were close to perfection , the supporting cast and tension were pitch perfect . Thought series 4/5 were strung out a bit but still good , the characters are so believable which is a very tough act . Like you say if this was on Netflix ( bbc2 graveyard slot i think ?) they’d be close to hysteria about the final series .

Agreed think it something to the scheduling when it originally came out, was on bbc2 at 11.10 after MOTD not exactly prime time.

It might get more hype now Damson Idris has been touted as the next Bond.

The Sinner with Bill Pullman is a a good set of stories. Each series is a different set of circumstances with twists a plenty. Americana small town police detective. A lot to like.

Der Pass is a German/Austria version of the original Bridge. At first didn’t really warm to it, but each series has got better and darker. If you like Scandi Noir this will be right up your street. Sky Atlantic

Diplomat episode 3 no spoiler but I nearly wet myself laughing, just wasn't expecting what happened later on in that episode.
Also up to date on Lincoln Lawyer which has moments of great humour, mostly involving ex wives!

Snowfall is excellent, but you have to watch from the beginning. I didn't realise the last series was out.

If you want something football related, then El Presidente is very good (apologies if already put forward). It's on Prime I think, and very funny for a drama.

Yeah the acting and storytelling has been superb. Franklin going from a polite, hard working school kid to a ruthless drug kingpin has been completely believable, which as you say isn't easy to pull off at all.

It’s not bad tbh, I’m on episode 10

Don't understand why the BBC haven't pushed it at all, especially when you consider some of the rubbish they're constantly advertising. Or showing Louis Theroux repeats on a Sunday night.

Just bumped the three as, because of the above comments, I've started watching Snowfall on BBC iPlayer and it is indeed brilliant !
Would massively recommend it to anyone who has previously enjoyed stuff like The Wire ,The Shield, Gomorrah etc

Not on either of these two, it’s on Apple TV, but Hijack with Idris Elba is a fantastic watch. It’s a 7 part mini series covering a troubled 7 hour flight. I’d recommend it if you have a way of watching it.

Did you start with Yellowstone first?

We thought 1823 was a little meh tbh but did enjoy 1923

They are doing another spin off, of the 6666 range as well
