This Could Go Anywhere - on Netflix.
A tour of golf in New Zealand with Phil Tufnell and Brendon McCullum. A funny and sometimes moving road trip primarily playing golf on some stunning golf courses. Some brilliant anecdotes
of their cricketing careers. They have a great rapport and it is a very enjoyable series.

Not Netflix /Prime but My 5 Lie With Me. I don’t watch non streamed TV so may have been on normal Channel 5.

We’ve just watched “Clarksons Farm” on Amazon.

Admittedly it is very “Jeremy” however it was an eye opener as to what farmers have to go through for for the returns they get, especially over the last year

We really enjoyed it. Basically, if you liked Clarkson on Top Gear, he basically uses his ‘format’ on the farm. It’s highly entertaining; the cast are great and indeed, it gives a great insight

Not an F1 fan, but just binge watched all 3 seasons of Drive to Survive on Netflix. Really, really interesting stuff. Sincerely hope there is a season 4 after today's Brit GP - the fireworks with Horner and Wolf and the drivers is going to be epic! Rest of this season is going to be awesome - now a fan.

Clarkson's Farm is worth it for Kaleb alone - brilliant!

Not Netflix/AP, but a few delights have just dropped on the IP.

A few classic films including Around the World in 80 Days, School for Scoundrels and The Man in the White Suit.

Also a couple of music docs that might well interest some on here.

Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars.

Liam Gallagher: As It Was.

Watched a Norwegian show, subtitled but not bad. Ragnarok. French show Lupin. Parts of Lupin were brilliant, some just OK.
Watching the Serpent,a year behind the UK.
I think you should leave is a comedy sketch show. some of it is a little weird at times, but some of it is ridiculously funny.

If anyone wants a decent streaming site that covers all channels, this one is good: https://fboxtv.com/ - Is you have something like a chromecast you can stream them to TV.

A couple of decent ones to watch.
Mayor of Kingstown
Mr Inbetween
The Night of
Ted Lasso was okay too.

I had that recommended to me and I've watched it.
Quite enjoyed it, clearly it's very close to the truth in regards to the actions of the USA.

The final scene after the credits made me laugh

Watched it last night - thought it was ok although a bit drawnout - think if it didn't have some A list actors to carry it we would probably have ditched it before the end.

Agree about that post credits scene though :-)

Regarding Don't look up, I just couldn't get into it. It was trying waaay to hard to be edgy and political. It kind of made me anxious. It has that certain American style of humour where it thinks it is a lot funnier than it actually is. Some people may like it but it was a big let down for me.

Just watched five episodes of this series last night, difficult to follow,so many characters all having little secrets,a Harlen Coben book must be hard to follow,it's quite intriguing though.

I thought Don't Look Up was excellent and very apt about how social media dominates so many peoples lives. Just watch 99% of young mums out and about with their children as to how they can't take their eyes off the phone screen.

Stay Close we really enjoyed and watched all of it across the day/evening.

Netflix. Suburra, blood in rome.
I’d like to thank whoever recommended this on the Gomorrah thread, that I can’t find!
Different style than Gomorrah. More sunshine and daylight and business corruption over drug gangs but an excellent watch.

BBC4 Saturday 9pm 2eps of 6.
Hidden Assets. A CAB investigation set in Ireland and Belgium.
We’ve had it over here on RTE and it’s a decent show.

Another we’ve had that I’ve never seen listed for UK was Bloodlands. James Nesbitt as a Belfast cop investigating a resurrected case from the troubles.

Afterlife series three - rounded off a brilliant series, perfectly.

Gervais isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but for me, he absolutely nailed it with Afterlife. Brilliant.

Well. Based on this I just tried to watch Stay Close? The story wasn’t an issue but I couldn’t get past the way it’s filmed like Broadchurch on steroids? Close ups and weird angles and that build up to a crescendo soundtrack?

That put me off more than anything… like a soap opera pretending to be a crime show

there were so many political jokes in it that you needed to pay close attention to US politics and media to get some of them. I thought it was good but very much written for an American audience
