You'd think people would know the rules by now, it's really not that difficult to understand surely.

As for Strictly I haven't seen this series yet, but all the smart money is on HRVY & Maisie Smith to be competing for the title, of course there could be a surprise who knows.

A shame that Nicola Adams had to quit, and she can't even return next year apparently.

My guilty pleasure is I'm A Celeb, so I can't criticise anyone's TV watching, if you like something you like it, and we all need some escapism at this time.

Some of the minge on offer, is admittedly pretty high quality... .. Fatty Quentin excepted, obviously. I can also do without the American teeth and fixed monkey grinning smiles that are now "de rigeur" amongst the wannabee famous brigade.
The male "dancers" are increasingly looking and acting like low grade Russian porn stars. I glanced up last night to see a scrawny youth mauling some old trout....sort of thing he'd have got a fat lip for in 1960s Bacup.

I get myself as far away from it as possible ...the hooting, whistling and infantile squealing gets worse every week... Why on earth anyone would want to watch Bill Bailey dance is utterly beyond me. .

Bit more tan a fat lip in Bacup I think. Still applies I imagine.

In Australia the word MINGE refers to the female pubic hair and gets it's name from the combination of the words Moot & Fringe. 😄

Oops, hope this thread isn't now pulled because of its sexual content.

My wife watches and I had a tenner ew on Bill Bailey at 66/1 before it started. He's musical so must have rhythm and a national treasure in the waiting. I thought Strictly might just be the thing that catapulted him.

I could have called it right. He was trading around 1.9.on betfair before they paused the market last night and apparantly he was excellent yesterday. I'll be tuning in for for the rest of the competition at this rate.

I'm always blown away by the volume of detailed knowledge blokes on here have of TV programmes for which they claim they've "never watched this shite". They claim to stay as far away from it as possible, but seem to know an awful lot about the contestants and indeed the professional dancers.

It seems there are none so knowledgeable on "this shite" than those who never watch it.

I can only imagine the wife has it on.

I reckon a quick glance at a typical Saturday night schedule on terrestrial TV will easily identify five or more worse programmes....

The Wall
Little Mix
Celebrity Catchphrase
The Voice
Celebrity Supermarket Sweep

I rest my case your honour

Edit: Beat me to it Bosscat!

BBC are now showing repeats of Blackadder at prime time on Saturday nights. They have been showing these on Gold for decades now. :o

All good strong contenders - especially that Little Mix mess.
There will always be the occasional bit of rubbish that can make its way onto the schedules for a season or maybe two. But the dancing orange wannabes have been there for 16 years. That level of longevity and crapness is pretty much unrivalled

I haven't watched it for a few years, but it's nowhere near the worst programme of all time, now I'm guessing you haven't had the pleasure of viewing some of the 1970's TV output, that really was a cringe fest.

Nearly 11 million viewers for Saturday's show, clearly this show still has a large fan base whatever some may think of it.

Do you mean such as 'Mind your language' or 'Love Thy Neighbour'. They don't make them like that anymore.

Slightly strange that nobody who goes into this show has a real marriage. They certainly have the ability to spot them! Christ on a bike. I'd be embarrassed if all it took was to go onto a **** show like that to ruin my marriage. At least have a bit about you.
