I’m watching the game, as I’ve done for years. But more for keeping an eye on Celtic No 17, left footed midfielder Ryan Christie, whose having a good game. Able to hold the ball and carry it forward at pace and spread passes to feet ( so far). He is a player who has been mentioned in the press, as a player we’ve been linked with.

Wouldn't touch Griffiths with a barge pole, he's not good enough for the PL, hence why no-one has shown an interest, Edouard on the other hand I'd snap up tomorrow, he'd be a great signing for us, pace and power and a decent finisher, exactly what we require, sadly I suspect he'll end up at Arsenal for big bucks 25-30m, which even with the new investment is out of our budget ATM.

Plenty of Scottish players do well in the Prem. I think there is too much snobbery about the standard. Armstrong now settling in at Southampton, Tierney doing well at Arsenal. Griffiths on a similar level to those so no reason to say he couldn't cut it in the Prem.

Frimpong - no much end product
Eduoard - disciplinary record keeps him away from top sides
Griffiths and Christie - yes please!

They got him from Man City's youth squad, it does show that the talent is out there if you search for it, he is Dutch so the Pieters connection could help us, but I can't see Celtic selling him anytime soon, he's been one of their standouts this season.

Are you sure you're not mixing up Edouard and Morelos, I haven't noticed Eduoard getting in bother with the officials up here, morelos on the other hand is a loose cannon.

Griffiths is past his best from what I've seen recently, and he's got a lot of personal issues, but Christie would be a marquee signing for the new owners, I can't see it though, I can see him going to Leicester to reunite with Brendan.

Griffiths is too slow and 1 footed.

If you cannot be a regular in the Celtic team or score 30+ a season in that league you probably wont cut it in the premier league.
He is a championship player IMO.

I'm watching Kent of Rangers and McGregor and Christie of Celtic as weve been linked with them, both the Celtic lads playing better, but none of the players are standing out really.

Must be me Tiger - every time I see Eduoard he seems to be in trouble, nothing like Morelos standards though!

Griffiths reminds me of Barnes a lot - got to be good!

1-0 win for Rangers, surely even they can't throw that lead away now, Arfield might well be about to collect some silverware.

Celtic imploded in the 2nd half, a crazy red card, and a crazy own goal from a free kick.

Can't see Lennon surviving this defeat, the vultures have been circling for a while now, and this will surely be the last straw for him.

For Gerrard Rangers patience in him is now being rewarded, I thought they might get shot of him in the summer, but they clearly had faith in him, and that's been proven correct by this remarkable run they are on, I know the Scottish league is derided, but at any level to go so long undefeated is testament to Rangers consistency.

Well apparently the asking price for Eduoard is £40m, now whether anybody will pay that is another matter.

Morelos does appear to have calmed down this season compared to his usual antics.

Fair does I haven't seen the game, I normally go out for a walk the day of an Old Firm game, and I don't have Sky anyway, so I'll watch the highlights later, having seen plenty of Morelos down the years nothing would surprise me with that guy he's definitely got a mean streak.

Christie and McGregor at Celtic look good players. As does the Rangers right back, Tavernier. He has got ridiculous stats (goals and assists) for a full back.

its not so much that the celtic and rangers teams are rubbish, because invariably they're not. No one can be sure how they would do down here.
Its more the tedium of them both contesting everything up there. league, cups, europe with one or two exceptions. it makes being in a league pointless. we moan about our big six, but we do get upsets, and the competition is genuine despite the gulf in finances.
I just couldnt feign enthusiasm if i lived up there. on the whole the standard is poor.

Griffiths was at Wolves and played regularly when they were promoted from league 1. They knew he wasn't up to it in the championship and shipped him out then.

He also head-butted his manager at Hibs and has the maturity of a drunk, racist 18 year old if the stories in the press are anything to go by. File him under your Jordan Rhodes, Charlie Austin type player who offers nothing but scoring when balls are put on a plate, with an even worse attitude to boot. Not good enough all round to be playing in the premier league.

Agree if Griffiths was up to Prem/Championship standard teams would have shown an interest in him. he had one great season for Celtic in 15/16 notching over 30 goals, but since then he's been a bit-part player at best. And if he can't even bang the goals in against the likes of Hamilton & Livingston, he's certainly not going to trouble PL defences.

Had some great games against the bulldogs when the late Andy Brown was manager
