Bournemouth next up in the cup it is then. 8-)
Would’ve preferred Crawley.

In Wilshire, Brooks, King, etc, have some players who can hurt you. Hope we go full strength-ish.

well City never let up, title could well go down to goal difference (doubt it though) so it's in their interest to pump WBA by 8 :D

Perhaps not, but they'll have to make a change soon if results don't turn, whether it's Benitez or someone else, otherwise they're in severe danger of going down. As a Burnley fan I'm more than happy for Bruce to continue in post, and I strongly suspect fans of all the other teams down there will feel the same.
Think they're in severe danger of going down no matter what they do.

I'm sure opposition fans were saying the same about us a couple of seasons ago when we'd lost nine of eleven games and just been hammered by Everton at home.

Mathematically its still quite possible for WBA to catch us up, (though I don't expect it).
However I can't imagine any scenario after this evening's result that WBA could end the season with a superior GD to us, so effectively we are 9 points clear of them and they have 18 to play. So they would need to win 3 more games than us in those games. It's not going to happen.

Don't forget their goal difference stands at a staggering -32 compared to our -12

That's rare though for teams to hit such a purple patch, and can you really see any of the bottom 3 hitting that level of form.

To put it into perspective we've amassed 9 points in our last 6 games, and yet many feel we're in poor form, West Brom have 11 points in the entire season.

And in total the bottom 3 have the grand total of 5 wins to their names this season, if any of them stay up from here they'll be doing incredibly well, and the teams above them will have to seriously implode, I can't see it, but in this game you can never rule anything out I suppose,

Cheltenham gave City more of a game than West Brom have tonight, I do wonder if Bilic will have a wry smile on his face watching this.

BTW heading for 4 away wins in the PL in tonight's games, hope that's not an omen for tomorrow.

Tonight’s football. East Lancashire’s second club are well on course for promotion...Stanley 2-0 Hull. Bloody amazing and they have a zillion games in hand on most. If fans are back next season (bloody hope so) I’ve promised to take the family to the home game against East Lancashire’s other team.

I'm curious based on what exactly tim, they have 2 wins out of 20, and are leaking goals like a sieve, and unlike Sam's previous roles they don't have the money to spend their way out of trouble.

Assuming Leicester (Vardy now out injured) and West Ham drop off a bit, it'll be the usual suspects in the top 6-7 places, including Everton.

For all the talk of a strange season it will probably end up like every other year.

Shows how remarkable our Europa league qualification was.

Wow! these stats are frightening for West Brom if true, taken from the BBC text feed so if they're wrong don't blame me, but they have had a lot of doings this campaign, reminds of the Coyle/Laws season when you needed an abacus at some of our matches.

4th time this season West Brom have concede five. 5th time they've conceded at least 4. 8th time they've conceded at least 3. Just saying.

You have no chance of winning games if your conceding goals so readily, and even the game they won recently at Wolves they had to bag 3 to win, unless they seriously tighten up and quick, there's only one place they're heading.

It's not just City though, they've shipped goals for fun all season, and even the appointment of BFS hasn't improved this fact, thumped 3-0 by Villa, 5-0 by Leeds and 4-0 by Arsenal, and that's all in the space of a few weeks, if you can't keep yourselves in games then you've no hope of getting points in this league, and that's the big difference between us and West Brom, yes we're struggling to score goals, but we rarely get thumped, and it's this strong base that will more than likely keep us in this league relatively comfortably.
