How do you create this artwork?

Hi ive taken this picture from the "finally an official claret".

How do you get the badge onto the wood like that?

Does anyone know?

And i dont mean putting 3 pieces of wood together!!

Various ways really, including direct to media printer; T-shirt print iron on transfer; film transfer.

That looks like direct to media though, as it’s quite precise

First tip is try and get the wood level with each other. Can't believe someone's shown such great skill to get the artwork on the wood and then made a schoolboy error by not checking the pieces of wood are all aligned

You could make your own more ‘distressed’ version easily. Print the image backwards on ordinary printer paper. Paint a thickish coat of white emulsion over the image( don’t worry). Turn and put the image onto the wood so the emulsion acts like a glue. Let it dry thoroughly. Then using water and your fingers carefully rub the paper from the back of the printed image. Gradually the image will appear. Be careful not to rub too hard or you will disturb the emulsion and ruin the image.
