Quiz: Chocoholics, it’s time to put your knowledge of chocolate to the test…

Post by tiger76 » Fri Apr 02, 2021 1:57 pm

It's that time of the week again, you'll like this one I think, although be warned I only scored 4/14, so it might not be as easy as you'd expect.

Ten for me too and with only a couple of successful guesses; I'm not even big on the stuff, though the Mrs is, so we've been to lots of chocolate museums, plantations and such.

10? I got 2! In my defence my last chocolate bar could have been a marathon.

6. All guesses. I don't need to know anything about chocolate. I just like eating it.

Two and they were guesses.

I thought I would just have to recognise a Fudge and Toffee Crisp.

And I always think of chocolate when I see you post given when I first started going on the Turf my granddad always had a bag of Riley's Chocolate Toffee Rolls.

That’s some robust packaging. They must have been good.

The young Tony used to stand on the tin to help him see the game.

I thought the young Tony predated football.

My granddad lived at my auntie's shop so I have to admit he used to take some from the tin and put them into a bag :D but I did have a buffet to stand on so I could see, that came from my mum's kitchen.

I used to love the Riley's though, far better than the bag of black and white mints my dad used to have.

No doubt those Rileys tins were used more than once for the TFC, notwithstanding the obvious lack of liquid content.
