Long Sleeves
Are long- sleeved shirts allowed any more? All Prem sides seem to play in short sleeves with some players wearing under-garments.

Re: Long Sleeves
Personally I'd ban any outfield player from wearing gloves, why does anybody apart from the goalkeeper need to wear gloves, it's not like the weather is that cold in the UK, now in say Russia and the Scandinavian countries I can understand it, but in the relatively mild UK really?

Re: Long Sleeves
Some players wear gloves for superstitious reasons. Some wear them for other reasons as I’ve been told by the very player themselves.
Jamie Vardy wears gloves. All the time. Does he ever look like he gives less then 100%? Do Leicester fans care? Nope. Nor would I. Lowton always wears under armour. Vydra usually wears gloves. Who cares? Genuinely?!

Re: Long Sleeves
When I played I’d see gloves as a sign the opposition wasn’t up for it. The first challenge would usually be more robust to try and set that tone. No logic at all but gave me a marginal boost believing it.

Re: Long Sleeves
Jay, Vyds & Dwight seem to prefer a long sleeve top
Vyds is the only one in current squad I can recall wearing gloves, but I’m sure I read/heard that he wears them for some medical reason

Vyds is the only one who wears a long sleeved shirt, the rest wear long sleeved under shirts.

Re: Long Sleeves
Didn’t Dwight wear long sleeves whilst he had his wrist bandaged up?
And even without the bandage. Just come a ross this on twitter.
Just seen another and he was in long sleeves along with Vyds for the Everton game.

Re: Long Sleeves
They obviously wear gloves so they can't give away any handball offences

Re: Long Sleeves
Something I noticed watching last nights MOTD (wasn’t able to watch the game live) was Dwight appears to have a sleeve tattoo on his left arm
Re: Long Sleeves
Must be a fairly recent addition then Wilks...
But talking about long sleeves etc a lot of players wear the long sleeved undershirts to protect their sleeve tattoos from scratches and scrapes ... (like Ben Stokes wears bandages to protect his when diving about in the outfield)
