Glimpses of good football but let down by final product. We had a good chance to get forward and Westwood lumps it up.

After Dyche's pre match conference no surprise to see Mee rolling on the floor. If you can't beat em. Join them.

Vydra’s deserved that. Looked lively with some good touches.

Combining really well again. Fair price to Vydra has got his chance and he is absolutely taking it.

Now adding goals to his energy, determination and movement.

Could be a real handful for us when they get a pre season together.

Fantastic goal. First time I’ve seen Wood dribble with the ball, great pull back and makes it easy for Vydra

Well done Chris Wood!!

They’re really starting to look like a partnership.

Now let’s knuckle down on this own and not throw it away!

Probably one of the first names on the team sheet at the minute is Vyds.

Chuffed to bits for him.

Good tackle from Pieters. We look a bit panicky in defence.

Agree.

Always felt he deserved more of a chance. And gave us a different option. But he had been lacking a lot of confidence and composure. Perhaps due to lack of games.

The two certainly look good together.

I'm so pleased for Vydra. So patient and dignified with it.

We were often told he wasn't good enough to start.

I'm excited about this Vydra Wood partnership, Vydra is like a new signing and Wood finally looks like a ball playing forward, great work by Wood for our first goal

Rossendale had 6 inches of snow last night, Burnley had some in areas, none in Padiham

Looking good. He's a natural goalscorer, although even I must admit he got a lot of help from Wood there.

Interestingly Vydra was on an instagram live with Troy Deeney last week where he was talking about playing with Wood and saying they'd been working out their partnership and wood preferred it into his feet while Vyds wanted it into the space in front of him. Good to see what they're working on in training unfolding on the pitch.
