Predictions vs Wolves

Post by tiger76 » Sat Apr 24, 2021 8:15 pm

:o no-one has posted this yet, anyway I think we'll get something tomorrow, maybe not a win, but I can see us taking a point in a 1-1 draw, which in our position would be decent enough, it's important that we do get something though, we seem to have been stuck on 33 points for ages, but thankfully neither Fulham or West Brom have been able to capitalise on our recent failings.

We haven't played that badly in the last 3 defeats, but it's been the individual mistakes that have proved costly, and at OT we were unlucky with the 2nd goal, so if we can cut out the costly errors we should have every chance of a result at Molineux, Wolves aren't that great this season, and they might subconsciously be on the beach.

4-4. Best game you’ll have seen in years.

Would take an absolute sh1t show of a 0-0, but we seem to have forgotten how to defend, so hoping we can score and it's enough for a point.

My only worry is Adama Traoré who is very similar to ASM at Newcastle.

That thought crossed my mind but I’ve had this one down for points for a while and I’m sticking with it.
2-0 Burnley.

Depends if we turn up.

If we turn up 1-0 win.

If we don’t 2-0 loss

I'm actually feeling worse about this game than the man utd one, so that probably means my prediction will be wrong.
1-0 them.

We need a result at Wolves even if it's a lucky draw.
A win would just about make us safe barring losing all our last games and Fulham
winning 3 of their last 5.
I'm sure the players will know that and hopefully perform accordingly.

Sorry guys, we are playing well and losing. Can only see a home win, probably 2-0.

Could backfire on me but haven't we stopped their speed merchant the last couple of matches? If I remember, he came on as sub last time and ended up really wound up because we sorted him. He even tried going through the middle but failed. Hopefully we can do the same today. If not, stop being honest and use any means to stop him. :D

Extract from the report on the reverse fixture.

“It proved to be Brady’s final action of the night. He pulled up sprinting back and was immediately withdrawn with Erik Pieters replacing him. McNeil moved over to the right with Pieters doubling up with Taylor to try and counter any threat from Traoré. They dealt with him superbly, he got in one early cross and that was about it.”

If/when Traoré comes on we have a plan B.

Hopeful of a win, would take a scabby draw but expect a Wolves win. I’ll say 2-0. We are bang out of form and seem to have have lost our organisation.

A hopeful 1-0 to the Clarets.

On a separate note, what channel is it on?

BBC today, so the whole nation gets the pleasure of watching us :D I actually fancy us to nick it today, Wolves haven't got anything to play for and a win today means we can relax and start looking to next season.

With a leap and a bound - and a 2-0 win, we'll be free to begin our limited, admittedly, climb up the table.

Interesting why some predictions are suggesting we won't score when we have done so for the last six matches.

We might not get anything but it's highly likely we'll get at least one goal.

We have also conceded in those 6 matches making us a punters banker in the both teams to score market ;)

A chance to move up the table cannot, should not and must not be wasted today.

Hopefully it won't be and performances are irrelevant now, just a win, any win is needed.

1-2
