Patson Daka
22yr old striker bagging goals for fun in the Austrian league for Redbull.
Anybody know much about him?
Linked with West Ham and the German Red Bull team for 17m.
Looks a bargain. Get in for him, would make quite a profit I think.

Re: Patson Daka
Other than buying him on Football Manager for Burnley and selling him 4 years later for £150,000,000 to Real Madrid I don't know much about him. He will more than likely move to German Red Bull team for a year or two to prove himself in Bundesliga before moving to a European heavyweight.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 10:14 am22yr old striker bagging goals for fun in the Austrian league for Redbull.

Re: Patson Daka
I'm still on FM 20 atm, just lost in the CL final with Plymouth It feels like its scripted that game at times. Will be buying FM21 so its good to know. I like the look of the retro database that's just been released by the mad scientist.claretburns wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:21 amYes, signed him at the end of the first season for £22,000,000.

Re: Patson Daka
Just another question on that, did RM just come in with a random offer or did you offer him out to clubs? I never seem to get huge bids like that.claretburns wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:18 amOther than buying him on Football Manager for Burnley and selling him 4 years later for £150,000,000 to Real Madrid I don't know much about him. Re: Patson Daka
I prefer FM21 to FM20, I don't play the full game, but the Touch version on my computer, makes it more streamlined and enjoyable to play.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:29 amI'm still on FM 20 atm, just lost in the CL final with Plymouth It feels like its scripted that game at times. With the RM Daka bid, he had a value of £85,000,000 and Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern, Juventus, Barca, PSG and Real Madrid were all interested.
So I think the English clubs went to around £110,000,000 but I rejected them, then PSG and RM both bidded £130,000,000 and I negotiated them both to £150,000,000 and Daka chose Madrid.

Tony Hancock was in demand.... scoring goals for fun and could be sold on for millions, Ian Moore I think was another...

Re: Patson Daka
Daka is a talent but there will be several suitors for him this Summer. PL and BL clubs. He may even follow Jesse Marsch to Leipzig.

Re: Patson Daka
After watching Ian Moore play for Stockport on the Turf, the week before we signed him. I can confirm I would rather have kept with Payton and Branch up front.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 8:07 pmCrikey that is jumping the gun a little don’t you think?

We were crazy to pay a million for him.
Hancock was before my time.

Re: Patson Daka
Was he the one that scored a worldie on his debut at Swansea for expectations to rise massively?

Re: Patson Daka
I remember watching Burnley pre season training running the avenue of trees in front of Towneley Hall and Hancock was streets ahead in pace and fitness compared with the rest. I predicted great things on the back of that. I don’t think I’ve ever been more wrong or disappointed.

Re: Patson Daka
It's fine. I don't think people know much about him.
As long as people keep talking to each other, that's the main thing.
