Maybe not strictly one for VAR, but are we convinced that Vydra carried the ball out of play in the build up to Wood’s disallowed goal? On first view it appeared so, there was grass visible between the bye line and the ball, but on the second view along the line I wasn’t convinced.
I thought that the whole of the ball was not over the whole of the line, hence, the goal should have stood.
Having said that, we are all aware that lots of throws are given in similar circumstances which is why FIFA are experimenting with line technology which is goal line technology but extended to the whole pitch. Their quest for the 100% perfect game of football is quite amazing.

Some of the decision making (or lack of it) as the 2nd half progressed became farcical. Clear fouls all over the pitch were completely ignored by the referee as he offered Fulham opportunities which they couldn't take advantage of. The handball by their keeper was a disgraceful piece of collective officiating.

Forget fxxxxxx VAR handball outside area by the keeper is a straight red card.In fact deliberate handball by a player is a red card.Coupled with the foul on Mat a definite sending off.
The useless pillock of a ref and his lino who was opposite the incident chocked. It didnt need reviewing. As stated previously, the ref was a complete joke ignoring foul after foul by Fulham.

We thought the same Riley. It can't have been looked at for long by VAR as play was soon back running. That second view was not convincing at all and, when you look at some of the decisions they spend an hour looking at, I thought they would have double checked to be sure.
It won’t have been looked at at all by VAR

They will only look at it if a goal is scored.
The whistle had blown and play stopped before the “goal” the same situation as Barnes “goal” at Leeds when Mee fouled the keepers knee with his back

The ref didn't blow his whistle till after the ball had gone in the net, so VAR could have allowed the goal if they believed there was proof the ball hadn't gone out.

VAR looks at everything. Just because the TV cameras don't explicitly say so doesn't mean VAR hasn't seen something.
In the Leeds game it was a failing of the on field ref, not VAR. In the Fulham game it was a failing of at least 3 officials; the ref, the liner on that side, and VAR.

You’re right he did, but only because the linesman had flagged as out of play, however he could not be entirely sure from that side of the pitch.
They are happy to delay/hold flagging for offsides, this should be no different.
If not sure, then let it play on and let VAR decide

VAR only looks at goals, penalty decisions, red card incidents and mistaken identity.

It wasn’t “given” as a goal on the pitch so nothing to review. If the ref/linesman had let it play on, then they would have been able to

Sorry, but you are definitely wrong. The whole point of the late offside decisions is so that if a goal is disallowed for offside, VAR can overturn it and give the goal. As long as the ref does not blow his whistle before the ball goes in the net, VAR can review it as a goal situation, whether it is allowed or not.
