According to " The Knowledge " column in the Guardian this morning, Kilmarnock's Scottish Cup defeat on penalties by St Mirren ( after a 3-3 draw ), was their 12th successive penalty shoot-out defeat. They last won one in 1984 ...
That really could make you fall out of love with " The beautiful game " ....

If my mind isn't playing tricks, I don't think we have lost many shoot outs, and I have seen a few over 50 odd years.
