No doubt this is 100% accurate and Arsenal fans feel almost identical to Man City fans in terms of engagement with their club

Have to say it’s been downright shocking since Hart replaced Baldwin in March last year. No sign of any improvement under the new ownership as yet but let’s hope they are able to take it forward.

I don’t think there was any noticeable difference when Hoos was here, Baldwin after him or Hart after him! The club have never shown any interest in engaging with fans.

There were some early signs of Pace changing that when he joined Twitter but even that seems to have died off now.

How about an online Q&A with the chairman and his new board (who we know very little about). What are the plans to improve the Turf and match day experience they keep alluding to? What about letting fans vote for the shirt design? Even if it’s just the away or 3rd shirt.

What do people actually want?

In my experience while there are some questionable decisions (ticket fiasco) I find the club always respond and are always transparent and honest.

If I’ve ever needed to contact the club more often than not I’ve had a personal reply and explained why they could or couldn’t do what was asked.

Whether that’s the ticket office, the slo, media and marketing, the hub, hospitality, catering and even (back office) senior management.

I remember when we put together a campaign to trial going into the cfs before allowing us to go in permanent. Many on the forums said it would never happen. The club listened. Embraced it. Provided cheap tickets. And spent money making it happen.

From Dave Edmundson to Lee Hoos, Baldwin, Watson and others. All have been contactable and approachable.

I should imagine our position is probably even worse following recent events.

Just as an example, following a protracted and stressful ticket renewal saga I'm now told my seat in the JHL (which I've had since opening day) is being taken by some blokes with more money than me.

You must have the missed various engagement opportunities that were advertised on here, when Dave Baldwin was in charge.

I’m not suggesting it was perfect but there was more engagement under his watch than I can recall with others.

To be fair to Pace and Hart, it makes certain forms of engagement much more difficult in the middle of a pandemic.

Feel for you doug. Likely more money but less passion yet a few on here are wetting themselves about the shiny new corporate facilities. At least, unlike those of us being 'left behind', you won't be expected to provide the atmosphere for them like an exhibit at the zoo.
