Anyone with that kind of crazy approach won't have an important job as they won't ever leave the house

I have 3 kids but only one child season ticket. Whichever one wants to go on the day gets it (it's an U21 so they all qualify).Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 10:53 am
I'm sure I won't be the only person holding a season ticket that is shared between more than one person.

There's ways around it for most people, but repeat signing in will cause problems for people who get around it.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 11:39 amAnyone with that kind of crazy approach won't have an important job as they won't ever leave the house

Or you could just comply with the regulations if you are deemed to have had a close contact with someone who has tested positive in order to do your best to protect other people.

My kids are 35 and 33, and Rebecca would never get away with being a Matthew.
If it was 2 lads I'd probably risk it.
I'm sure they'll find a solution in time. A separate turn stile for shared season ticket holders in order to verify id, I don't know , but as I said, I cant be the only person in this boat.
Do the children's ST not have a named person on them?

Not sure how any that is the clubs fault.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 10:53 amJust cancelled tonights 5ickets, and cancelled a season ticket.
I've had a second season ticket for 5 years, that 2 children share and pay for. As I could only get it in one name i used lads. My daughter was due to go with me tonight, but because of track and trace she can't use it as her name is not on the ticket. They've said that going forward, the same protocols could be in place for next season, so I've sadly cancelled their season ticket. Neither of them can guarantee being free every home game.
I'm sure I won't be the only person holding a season ticket that is shared between more than one person. Its a sad state of affairs, and I can understand the reasoning, but surely an issue like that can't be insurmountable.
It causes inconveniences, but now it's costing the club money.

1, Was the health questionnaire the couple of questions you filled out with check boxes or is there something more detailed that I’ve not done?
2, Is the QR code the actual ticket to get in to the ground?
Thanks!
2. Yes, either on your phone or a hard copy.

Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
Just been in the ticket office.... no one in, it was dead.
Very helpful young lad on the desk sorted my issues out there and then.
In the words of Gunnery Sgt Highway, the whole thing has been an absolute cluster f**k, and at a time when a lot of people have got used to doing other things and spending football money elsewhere the club could have done without it.
Can’t fault what they are trying to do tho, and they ticket office are trying their best to make a go of it, seems like the tech has let them down spectacularly.

I suspect it will be more than that but I'll let you know when I get the full details. When told that they weren't renewing I didn't feel the need to question why. Each to their own but a very sheltered life isn't one of the descriptions I'd give of them..

I've never once blamed anybody, so where you find me saying the clubs at fault, I don't know.
I just think it's a sad state of affairs , and an issue that others will share. In time it should be addressed hopefully.

Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
Wait 438 days since last live game, get a ticket in the ballot, dodge Covid for 14 months. Day of match.....test positive.
Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
1 hour 15 mins arrival, before kick-off, for half the stand and 45 mins for the rest.
That would have been a struggle for me. No ticket though, so not an issue.

The theory is that it only acts on prolonged contact in close vicinity. Previously (I assume you still can) you could look at the logs and see where there were positive matches but the exposure wasn't enough to warrant a warning.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 11:45 amI realise that but other grounds have had long queueing and sat near others for hours.

Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
I switched mine off after being sent home from work for 10 days. It can tell the distance but not what is in between you both. I was inside, with a screen, and the person who tested positive was outside.

I’m pretty sure your son shouldn’t be sharing his season ticket with your daughter without the club’s permission though. So technically the fact that you have one season ticket for 2 people could be argued that it is already costing the club money.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 10:53 amJust cancelled tonights 5ickets, and cancelled a season ticket.

I’m sure there will be plenty of others in the same situation but that’s obviously not what a season ticket is for.
Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
I have an email from a previous chief executive who states its fine to share a ticket, as long as its in the same price category or lower.Rileybobs wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 7:08 pmI’m pretty sure your son shouldn’t be sharing his season ticket with your daughter without the club’s permission though. Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
I presume that would constitute permission from the club, although may no longer apply. I’ve taken my missus on my brother’s ticket before and not had an issue, but I didn’t think it was commonly accepted that anyone in the same price bracket could use one. May be wrong though.

Re: Liverpool game - Claiming tickets and ground entry
Is it any different to corporate seats. They are paid for without a name attached. It was also the only way I could guarantee us sitting together. I take your meaning, but disagree. If I've paid for 2 seats, and only 1 gets used, I've still paid for 2. Costing the club would be trying to fit 2 people in the same seat, at the same time.Rileybobs wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 7:08 pmI’m pretty sure your son shouldn’t be sharing his season ticket with your daughter without the club’s permission though. I expect corporate seats will be sold with different terms and conditions. Season tickets are intended for named individuals. I’m not against what you do, as I say I have used my brother’s ticket for other people on one off cases in the past. Just pointing out why the club may not be too amenable to people in your situation.Colburn_Claret wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 7:59 pmIs it any different to corporate seats. Season tickets can be used by other than the ST holder, as long it's the same age group.Rileybobs wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 8:05 pmI expect corporate seats will be sold with different terms and conditions. Don’t worry about it. Especially not during a game. Just wondering if that is the case whether it is something that will remain so, what with digital tickets, a ticket app etc.
