Glam won the toss elected to bat and are 5/0, brave move with Jimmy in our line up.

I watched a few overs on the live feed and Mahmood looked far more dangerous than Jimmy.

The quality of streaming the games is fantastic with moving cameras showing the outfield. Maybe they have had to upgrade with members not allowed on.

It's raining now at Old Trafford.

I'm not surprised, it's barely stopped raining up here all day.

Jimmy getting his eye in before the Ashes tour :) he will need some overs under his belt prior to the NZ test. so he and Lancs will hope the rain disappears sharpish.

111-2 but the rain has arrived again, this could be a frustrating few days if these interruptions continue.

Restart due at 5.30.

Glamorgan 344 all out just missing out on a 4th batting point, steady if very slow start by Lancs 22-0 from 18 overs.

Good to see Jimmy get through plenty of overs and taking a few scalps, but this game is nailed on for a draw unless Lancs collapse, tomorrow looks like being a complete washout, so only Glamorgan can win from here, any bonus points could be important in the final standings however.

Davies gone for 15, 39-1 Jennings and Wells at the crease. And those 39 runs have taken 27 overs, so it's been incredibly slow going for Lancashire, and batting points are looking a remote prospect at this rate.

108-2 now, Wells gone for 30, but Jennings in the runs once more approaching another 50 at lunch.

132-3 Jennings passing 50 again, that's one positive Lancs can take from this match he's maintained his form with the bat.

Livingstone just dismissed for 25, 185-4 Bohannon going well he's nearing his 50, and Vilas just came to the middle.

226-5 they're playing again after a brief delay for bad light, Vilas and Wood the batters, surely they won't be playing for much longer though.

1 batting bonus point thus far for Lancashire, and they might all be important come the final standings.

Edit 234-6 Vilas gone.

Both sides got 14 points out of the game, which considering the abysmal weather both will be reasonably content with, hopefully the next round of games will see the sun come out to play.

On behalf of the away team, yes, I'm happy with 14 points.

It doesn't really do Galmorgan's hopes of progressing much use however, and it looks like a straight fight between Lancs and Yorks, with perhaps Northants as a dark horse, the rest are a far way back, and they'd really need both of the Roses counties to falter badly.

I just hope we finally start getting a summer, otherwise it could turn this tournament into a farce, and the counties who experience the fairer weather will be massively advantaged.

When you are a Glamorgan supporter, 4th in div 2 really is progress.
We are the Bristol City of cricket at the moment. Just waiting for Burnley to come and buy marnus from us.
