For those interested, the webcam at LA will stay on in spite of this year's returning breeding couple having taken up residence in another part of the forest.
There will be the odd pine marten or bird visiting and the forest backdrop is generally spectacular with the odd deer meandering across the landscape but that will be about it.
There are plenty of ospreys, sea eagles and golden eagles knocking about and there are lots of other nest webcams dotted around the country so all is not lost.
