What ever happened to this lad. He used to get pelters from memory while he was with us. Did he end up having a career??

He certainly played at a higher level than we were at with Ipswich Town.

Remember him scoring at Carlisle in the cup when we were being hammered maybe 4 or 5 nil at the time.

Think that was his highlight for us, bundling a ball in late on from a few yard out. Didn't he play for Ipswich & Sheff Weds ?

He was working for my company on the railway not so long ago.
He has a tale or two to tell about the casper/mullen days

One of only a few Burnley players in the 1990s to leave us and play in the Premier League.

Had an excellent career after leaving us.

Ipswich, Birmingham, Forest, Sheff Wednesday.

Was a striker for us but played as a midfielder elsewhere.

Pelters? - He started one game for us and that was the final league game of the 1990/91 season when he came in for the suspended Ron Futcher. We won 2-0.

Does it relate to anything that came out of a bottle?

He was capped by Northern Ireland too.

Strange how it never occurred to the management team here to try him in midfield, where he eventually had a reasonable career.

Most of them yeah.
One was Torquay away and having to prop someone up on the touchline for most of the game
A week on Russia too where one of our lot phoned his brother, asking if he could pick him up after one too many

I remember that happening to Hardy at Walsall but I don't recall ever seeing Sonner play.
