He knows how to make an ass of himself trying to take a penalty

178 goals for City says he knows how to score though..agree he made himself look a tool with the penalty though

Shame there wasn’t a thread on the game.Guardiola trying and failing to get the psychological edge over Tuchel for the Champions League final by beating Chelsea with his second string today.
In my opinion the referee Taylor was very good, ignoring the falling over by players which has been an unattractive characteristic of the PL for too long. Guardiola going mad when Sterling was not given a penalty for one of his many tricks in the penalty box solely designed to win a penalty. This time putting the brakes on waiting for contact from the defender.

Here it is:
And a word about the Sterling non penalty. Yes it was probably a peno, but I have some sympathy for the referees. Certain forwards are so skilful at engineering contact in the box to make it look like a trip, it’s hardly surprising that the eyebrow of suspicion is so often raised. I have absolutely no sympathy.

Exciting though now with Chelsea beating City twice in such a short space of time. A weakened side today , not sure if City played their strongest team in the FA Cup semi final defeat.
Tuchel has transformed this Chelsea side and I think it might be closer than you think Steve

You may be right Steve but you know I have a funny feeling Pep might regret that.

Texted a mate who is a big City fan before game "when you start with the likes of Ake, Mendy and Torres in the side you should be worried"

Pep got what he deserved yesterday

If Christensen is injured then a big blow for Chelsea otherwise they make sneak another win in Champions League final
