Fantastic footballer one I hope to see play on the Turf next season all being well, still angry I missed Zlatan through him being injured when United visited the Turf in his one season
Agreed, I hope he stays for another season and we can see him at TM.

So if WBA look like getting relegated later, will Big Sam hand his notice in before it's confirmed?

Traore looked good when playing near the centre of the pitch. I wonder what he would be like instead of Vydra alongside Wood. Surely that's Traore's best position, tricky, strong, quick off the mark, bound to win penalties. Wonder why Wolves don't play him there when they're without Jimenez and look toothless.

Well! he only got his marching orders because it was his 2nd yellow, but in principle I agree, and often refs bottle these decisions especially when the player is walking a tightrope.

As for Watkins what a numpty, why would you even take the risk knowing you're on a booking already, or was it just an instinctive act that he does out of habit, either way it's cost him and his club big time, and just maybe he'll learn his lesson from this episode, though I wouldn't bank on it.

Cavani was an embarrassment when he played against us. Spent too much time on the ground. He seems to have learnt from it and turned it around though.

Doesn't surprise me Everton's away form is superb, now if they could only replicate that at Goodison they might be pushing for a top 4 place, but sadly for them they can't.

Aye Everton will be kicking themselves over their home form. Lost to us, Fulham and Newcastle.

They've also lost to Leeds, Villa and West Ham at home, and drawn with Palace, even a couple of wins out of those fixtures and they'd be right in the mix for a CL spot, but it's their inconsistency which is going to thwart them.

Most of the division have more home defeats than a normal season.
Just goes to prove how important the 12th man is in affecting the outcome.

Yeh I think they are programmed to do it , and another English player at it! The list is so long now it’s hard to think of a club that doesn’t have a box diver. My son reckons Leicester have been sussed out now so concentrate on practising their diving outside the box for Maddison free kicks.
Thanks for mentioning it was a second yellow , hopefully the day will come when it’s a straight red! Pigs might fly

If the Hammers lose this match it will be the 137th home defeat of the season in total and that is after 34 matches in most cases.
The average over the last 4 seasons has been 115 home defeats at the end of the season ---goes a long way in proving your point about the 12th man!

It's a funny old game is football ain't it. We go to Everton and win quite easily really even though the score was only 2-1, West Ham come to us and play us off the park, so you would think West ham would walk all over Everton but no. After 50 odd minutes West Ham huff and puff but look nothing like the team that beat us.

Everton win 1-0 when was the last time an Everton victory was so loudly cheered by Liverpool supporters.

Now could tonight be BFS swansong in the PL, it'll almost certainly be West Brom's that's for sure.

Completely off the top of my head I think Norwich have yo-yoed a fair amount in recent years, not sure about any others if there is any.

I only recall that fact because it was mentioned during their last relegation, whether they'll make it 6 relegations next season we'll just have to wait and see. :)

WBA boss the play for 25 minutes then find themselves 2-0 down.

That's why they're going down.

Bye bye BFS.

It’s not just representative overall from this game, in other games they haven’t dominated but drawn/won, it’s a combination of reasons just not good enough in too many departments it’s that simple.

Just shows what a freak result that 5-2 win at Chelsea really was, and don't forget West Brom were getting battered there until the sending off.

And if I was a Baggies fan I'd be worried because I'm not convinced they'll do a Norwich and make an immediate return to the top flight.

Some might be worried the 1s that enjoy the promotion after the relegation season, I suspect some might just be thinking what’s the point when we are going down again after going up again & question the sense in it all, if you could offer good championship seasons without promotion or average PL seasons without relegation that’d be the favourite for plenty I should imagine.

Basically he looks after himself above others . Nothing wrong in that principle but with BVFS it’s always money before anything else. He misses out on a gigantic bonus for not keeping him up , without it I would not be surprised to hear some excuse for leaving

I can't see those quality players staying.
Pereira's the one real quality player they possess and I can't see him sticking around when they fall back into the Championship, he's proven he can hack it at this level, and there will be plenty of interest in him I suspect.

If they've got players on loan then naturally they will return to their parent clubs, so they might be looking at quite a large overhaul with a relatively thin budget, and I'm not sure Sam will fancy that prospect TBH.
