Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
They had two penalty claims turned down. It shouldn't effect the next decision but sadly I think it did. Nothing to do with VAR. just bad referring on screen and at the game.

Whole team needs a rocket, poor sub taking Vyds off, McNeill a passenger
Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
Of course it will all be about Fulham being cheated out of 2 penalties and hardly anything mentioning the first disallowed goal and the keeper handling the ball

Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
First half I thought he was habit decent game letting things (soft things) go, but it turns out he’s like a rabbit in the headlights. Frightened to death to make a call. Poor reffing, poor back up from the VAR studio.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 9:32 pmJesus this ref is having an absolute stinker. It's like he's 3 parts p!ssed
How anyone can not send off their keeper after watching that is beyond incompetent.... it’s bordering on corruption.

Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
I take it you're watching it on Sky? They are always biased to the largest viewership. On the world feed it's the opposite. Martin Tyler and Matt Holland think they definitely weren't penalties and the goalkeeper should have been sent off.

Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
Knackered my arse .. useless bunch .... and told to boot on every occasion.
No leadership on field .... calm the **** down ... pass the ******* ball

Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
apparently the defender on the ground could've recovered to prevent a clear goalscoring opportunity, the VAR ref thought it was Rodriguez and not Vydra
Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
I don’t disagree but would be good to see how close it was

Essentially saying "the defender who was on the deck, would have had it covered if the GK didn't handle it..."
Just be honest, Stockley Park, and admit you made a F up.

Lemina yellow for scything Charlie. If he’d had a yellow for stamping on Lowts he’d be off.

Because Stockley Park decided it wasn't a clear cut goalscoring chance, that's a new rule approx 27 minutes old.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 9:39 pmI can't fathom how VAR find reasons NOT to give that handball

Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
jesus christ, must be because Fulham are London based!!!!!!
Lets ignore the facts like the ball was out of play before the ball was in the net, it is all a conspiracy to get London clubs into the PL.

Re: Fulham-Burnley-Match Thread
If I understood the explanation correctly, because there was a covering defender, if the keeper hadn’t blocked it with his arm, and Vyds hadn’t been brought down and got around him, it wouldn’t have been a goal scoring opportunityclaptrappers_union wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 9:39 pmI can't fathom how VAR find reasons NOT to give that handball

Fulham should be down to 9 men here. Lamela has done enough to earn 2 on his own!!!
But this has been a tedious second half
