I would agree with that completely, mid table and a cup run. I don't think anyone is asking for us to be chasing a place in Europe. Investing 5-10 million quid on a player in a transfer window shouldn't be beyond our means especially given Dyche tends to get the best out of and improve every single player he works with for any decent amount of time

But some fans think we need to replace half the team, so 10 mill. isn't going to go very far! Maybe 7 Dale Stephens!

Given the age of our squad though we will need to replace quite a few over the next couple of windows, how many I'm not sure tbh. Given what the new owners have said I expect us to sign younger players with sell on value, I think the times of Dale Stephens type signings could be gone

Hopefully some of the younger players/Development squad can make the step up to fill some of the replacement spots.

I honestly don't know how long along the process we are - do we have any lads that could get game time in the Championship ? Going to be difficult for them to step into a PL team that struggles with possession imho
