Horticulturist help needed?
Can anybody identify this please. Mrs Huw wants to delve into Dr Hessayon and find out what to do with it but is struggling to name it.

The stalk disappearing from the top of the shot is enormous but has the same head as the two on the right. Sheโll look after them when I tell her. Absolutely know idea where they have come from.

Alliums are part of the onion family - bulbs.
Those big ones that Bosscat posted are spectacular but I found they didn't last more then two or three years.
