If he doesn’t score he will assist the goals. His record at both scoring and assisting is very good.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 11:13 amKane will always score goals. Hes good on the deck and in the air. Strong. Reasonably quick. And clinical when he has a chance.
He isn't great on the eye. And if he doesnt score you could say he doesnt bring much else to the table. But you can't argue with his goalscoring record.
City need a proper goalscorer. Can see them winning the champions league with Kane.

Re: Harry Kane
There was an article not long back saying City are looking to sell a lot of players who haven't quite made the first team and expect to generate over 80m.

He does almost guarantee goals but it’s not a given that he’ll overtake Shearer.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 10:09 amScreenshot_20210723-100517.png
28yrs old, will most likely over take shearer before he retires if he carries in scoring at the rate he does.
He guarantees goals, averages 20 league goals a season.
The biggest achievement on that list, though, is that of Frank Lampard. 177 goals from a midfielder. Truly incredible.

Re: Harry Kane
Lampards goal record is amazing.
As for Kane, if City were set up for him, then there's every chance he would pass Shearer, he's not far behind Aguero despite playing for a lesser team.

In fact don't they get 20m or more from a sell on clause for Sancho.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 12:24 pmThere was an article not long back saying City are looking to sell a lot of players who haven't quite made the first team and expect to generate over 80m.

15% of anything above the £8 million Dortmund paid for him apparently.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 2:33 pmIn fact don't they get 20m or more from a sell on clause for Sancho.
Potentially £10 million ish, which isn't bad.

I agree. But people argue he’s only good at scoring goals and nothing else.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 23, 2021 11:35 amIf he doesn’t score he will assist the goals. His record at both scoring and assisting is very good.
