It's going to be the long time ST holders that suffer the big price increases as you would presume they had the best seats?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 10:14 amSimilar in the Longside Upper - you could be in front of or to the side of someone paying considerably less. If they continue with those differences for 2022/23 there are going to be some big increases in early bird prices,

The block I sit in is one with what looks like a huge increase. It's rare we get a change of people in our are which backs up your theory of them all being long time season ticket holders.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 10:19 amIt's going to be the long time ST holders that suffer the big price increases as you would presume they had the best seats?

Re: Re: Phase 2 renewals and Phase 3 update
All seems to be along the lines of what we discussed a few months back, there will be looking to push the prices on the most attractive seats/even create further hospitality options, this will gradually push people out to the seats that are left to the last to fill - particularly the JHL and JML front seats - they can get away with it until we are relegated then it might be a somewhat more difficult taskQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 10:19 amIt's going to be the long time ST holders that suffer the big price increases as you would presume they had the best seats?

The new owners might be gone by then if they increase revenue streams? The value of the club will go up and they might make a decent profit?Chester Perry wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 12:10 pmAll seems to be along the lines of what we discussed a few months back, there will be looking to push the prices on the most attractive seats/even create further hospitality options, this will gradually push people out to the seats that are left to the last to fill - particularly the JHL and JML front seats - they can get away with it until we are relegated then it might be a somewhat more difficult task

Re: Re: Phase 2 renewals and Phase 3 update
I think their target is to get a £1bn+ valuation for the club and create at least one more £500m + plus business off the back of what they are doing at the club - that is the way the American franchise owners are going about things in the last decade or so - they will likely consider it a failure if they don't get that four to five times multiple on entrance value. Currently in the MLS values are averaging 12 x revenue they got the club for around 1.5 x revenue,Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 12:13 pmThe new owners might be gone by then if they increase revenue streams? Credit where credit due to the club. Renewed as a phase 2 easily. Three “missed games” and £10 refunded. Same price as early bird 2020. Same seat as before. What more can I ask for?

The James Hargreaves Stand signage was being taken down when I was round the back of there on Sunday morning.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 10:19 amNone of the sponsors are showing for the phase 3 prices. Longside is/was James Hargreaves, and I have heard they have opted to discontinue, while Bob Lord was Howard Rigg, cricket field was Ladbrokes and I'm not sure who sponsored the Jimmy Mac. What next? A Barnfield Stand?

The James Hargreaves sponsorship must the longest one we've ever had surely. Bit strange if/when the stand gets a new name.

Re: Phase 2 renewals and Phase 3 update
I have my seats in place for the coming season but with the prices surging up in the best areas I suspect, after over 30 years, this will be my last season. I wouldn’t want to move to a “wing” or lower down after all these years and the price (and travel) for a family is hard to justify. It’s catching up with my golf club membership in price and I get about 500 hours per year out of that, as opposed to about 30.
The one thing that could persuade me is if there was an option to get a refund for non-attendance, allowing them to flog that premium seat at a higher price for a game - everyone would then benefit. Running a business there are always a few games a season I can’t get to.

I've lived in Bournemouth for the last 7 years, but I've kept my season ticket even though I've only managed 5/6 games a season. Unfortunately, I doubt that I'll renew for the season after next if it's going to be such a big price increase.

I had a nightmare trying to renew online? Got through to the Veriphone site but once I had put my card details in (including Santander one time code) the window closed then the BFC site opened up again but without the option the renew my season ticket. Tried again using my wife’s debit card. Exactly same thing happened?
Fortunately no monies have been taken from our accounts and when I went to the ticket office they sorted it immediately with no issue? Has this happened to any other clarets?
I’ve let the club know via e-mail, just in case it is an issue affecting others.

I want to commit but the club have offered no explanation on the use of vaccine passports to enter the ground as a requirement. I don't want to pay for the ticket, then end up being unable to go because of the latest rules.

If the government are going to say you need a vaccine passport to enter the ground the are you expecting the club to say “nah we won’t bother”?

Re: Phase 2 renewals and Phase 3 update
I thought that the government was going to leave it up to the businesses to have their own rules in place. Obviously if they make it law to have the vaccine, then they will have to enforce that. As things stand at this moment in time, the rules or conditions for entry are unclear.

Season tickets on general sale from today.
Has anyone worked out how to buy just a child ticket (or any other concession) on the website, I’m only being given the option of full price tickets.

I think you have link them via the family and friends option for them to show on your login.
Re: Phase 2 renewals and Phase 3 update
I tried to get season tickets for my 10 year old lad, and myself.
The website wouldn't allow me to select a child seat - it also offered ADULT tickets only for both of us.
Furthermore, I then got a sequence of other errors which meant I couldn't checkout. (I figured I could checkout, and then contact the club to correct the tickets after securing the specific seats I wanted - but it wouldn't even allow that.)
In the end, I drove down to the ticket office, and was sorted out in 20 minutes. (Not an option for all, I appreciate that.)

I know people will say get the vaccine then which is a whole other topic which for obvious reasons don't want the topic of that discussed for fear of detracting from the thread but just think the PL/BFC/Government should be providing clarity while fans are renewing because there will be people in this situation come october if they decide to go ahead.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 11:17 amApologies, you are correct. Re: Phase 2 renewals and Phase 3 update
Not read through the whole thread, but my son and his mate are wanting season tickets this season, however it will be his friends first season so he hasn't got a clarets number, so obviously isnt on my friends and family.
Is there anyway you can get a clarets number via the website before it during the buying of a ticket? I've been trying but it keeps blocking my purchase, due to 1 clarets number short.
Tried ringing the ticket office, but it's just ringing out constantly.
How and why can wanting to hand your money over and get a new fan on board be so difficult?
It seems its the 1 part of the club that needs a major overhaul.
I'm glad I dont need to deal with them regularly as it seems the majority of the time it's an absolute ball ache.

Saying that if I was in your shoes I wouldnt trust to club to actual do this but maybe this is something they could clarify now as it might give you and others the confidence to buy the tickets knowing you wont be left out of pocket a couple of months down the line

How are we looking in regards to total sales? There seems to have a been a decline in ST holders each Premier League season and was wondering if that trend has been bucked. My gut feeling is that we won’t have and could be looking at our lowest average gate this season in comparison to previous ones.
