Just thinking back over the last few seasons and we haven't had a home win that many times at all to take us into the close season. Personally, I'm just relieved we managed to keep our place in the Premier league and that this season is virtually over. I want to go to the match again with my family, have a cup of tea or a pint beforehand and not have to listen to the sometimes smug, sometimes unprepared or sometimes just downright irritating pundits and commentators wittering on.

I was thinking about that. Everton seemed to have a pretty miserable time at home this season. But was it the relegated teams who were the worst in this regard?

We have 18 and Everton have 22. We are 15th and 17th with Brighton in 16th place with 21.

Below us are, as you say, the three relegated clubs. West Brom have 15, Sheffield United 13 and Fulham 10 with the last two still having a home game remaining.

Away from home we are 12th with 21 points. We can't go up because Spurs are 11th with 26 points but Palace, Brighton and Newcastle could all finish above us should they get results and us lose.
