Colne went from 50/0 to 54/5

Not LL related but there was a hell of a knock yesterday, when for Kent there was a partnership of 166 with 1 of the batters scoring just 1 run!

Lowerhouse 143-6 after 42 end of innings
Tannoy has just announced that Ken Shapcott has exposed local cricketer after 2 years of investigation work, hats off to his persistence.
Wicket a bit wet, I think Lowerhouse look 10-20 short but who knows

In the Ribb league it looks like Earby have got themselves a star. Harry Brindle whose mum played for England, has just got 5 for 12 off 10 overs in the first team at the age of 12.

If you're Nigel Stockley, then fair enough. If you're not, then lifting his work and passing it off as your own is a low thing to do and surely against forum rules.

Absolute farce of a way to decide any game. Surely reserve dates needed or at least a bowl out on the outfield. Anything is better than that. Presumably if its a washout all over the first round gets decided like that? Joke.

You’d think so but if presume it’s difficult to fit into the calendar. Not sure how you can have one game decided by a bowl out and one by the toss off a coin.Somethingfishy wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 7:22 pmAbsolute farce of a way to decide any game. The rules seems a bit loose on it as you suggest. It's more annoying as we had set them a decent target of 189. There are plenty of weekends where only the league game is played. The only double weekends are Worsley cup weeks. Considering it is akin to the CL of Lancashire cricket it's a bit of a shambles.Local cricketer wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 7:26 pmYou’d think so but if presume it’s difficult to fit into the calendar. That’s right.
It is an absolute farce of a way to decide a game
The issue with replays is that the Lancs League already have to disrupt their schedule quite a bit to fit the LKO in.

I watched a bit of the Padiham Settle bowl out on a live stream. I was a bit surprised when each bowler had two goes each. When did the rules change?
