Not true. We beat Nelson on a Sunday.Local cricketer wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 7:26 pmYou’d think so but if presume it’s difficult to fit into the calendar. Not sure how you can have one game decided by a bowl out and one by the toss off a coin.
In good news at least Colne haven’t lost on a Sunday for the first time this season. Be dancing in The Rodney tonight

Following on from Harry Brindle’s brilliant 5 for 14 off 10.2 overs on Saturday against Feniscowles yesterday he shared in a undefeated 143 opening partnership with his mum ArranClaretincraven wrote: ↑Sun May 23, 2021 7:47 pmMum Arran also played in the game. I assume they must have moved back into the area. She used to play for Thornton in Craven in the Craven League as a youngster.
Well batted both of you

Anyone taking in a game tonight? I'll be on the Colne v Accy game. Hopefully Colne's sub pro turns up tonight, could be some fireworks if he gets going!

We are on The House vs Rishton. Good game in prospect.
A few beers and a natter with a walk for the pooch - what could be better ?

Lowerhouse 148 end of overs, good bat from Barlow
I’d say it’s a decent score on the track and it’s going dark
Rishon 10/1 after 2

Rishton 51 all out. Strange reply from them. They never seemed to have the slightest inclination of wanting to give it a go. No aggression with the bat at all. Tight bowling maybe but they never looked like they were trying.
Young Henri Cottam taking 4 wickets for only 7 runs.

Lowerhouse win easily in the end, I think they’d have won anyway but I wouldn’t have wanted to bat 2nd tonight, harsh conditions
Re: Lancashire League Cricket 22/05/21
Colne beat Accy in a close game on the Horsfield. Pro failed again but Adam Holt got the runs for Colne. Not sure why he's playing in the 2nds most weeks.

It was quite dark by the end but it was gloomy for the whole match. Batting first was undoubtedly an advantage though.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 9:39 pmLowerhouse win easily in the end, I think they’d have won anyway but I wouldn’t have wanted to bat 2nd tonight, harsh conditions

GT 'Arrod made just over 200! in their 20 overs V East Lancs (Blackburn!) and won easily, so a nice little warm up for their Worsley Cup match against the 'Ouse tomorrow!!! Are 'Ouse losing sleep?? I suspect not!!
