Good position, good view and got the decision completely wrong. Add to that, Torquay’s first was clearly offside.

It was a wrong decision but not ridiculous. There was a millisecond between the defender toe-ending the ball and the collision. VAR would have got it right, probably!

They mentioned on comms that he was poor on crosses but his starting position, for where the ball was played in from, was atrocious.

A proper game of football with two teams giving it all they had to try to regain League status. No intereference from VAR, just officials doing their best, not getting everything correct but still contributing much to the game, in spite of the changing interpretation of TLOG which is being inflicted on them.

Congratulations to Hartlepool and commiserations to Torquay but thanks for a very entertaining afternoon ---let's hope that the Euro games are as good.

Hartlepool (nor Torquay for that matter) can have lifted many trophies in their history so the sheer joy on their fans' faces when the trophy was lifted was wonderful to witness. Should be a great journey home and hopefully those same fans and others will be there to witness their first game in a few weeks time.
