Glad that he featured today, and after the Czech Republic victory there's every chance he'll appear again in the tournament, as they'll more than likely go through to the last 16 now.

I'm surprised he's only our 3rd player to appear at the Euro's considering the amount of the ROU players we've had over the past few years.

I always think of Dimitris Papadopoulos being a claret when he played for Greece at the Euros. But obviously not by then.

I refer to the competition getting underway in 1958 which is exactly what it did.
