Emma Hayes
So who would??
In all fairness think her commentary is very good at the Euros.

Re: Emma Hayes
She obviously is an intelligent coach who knows all the big words in coaching lingo.
But it's too overbearing for me.
30 words over every bit of play is too much. The game moves on too quick for her.
Talk less and try and simplify the game for us, not make it more complicated. We can see what's going on. We just need the professional co commentator to explain why footballers do what they do and why teams play the way they do.
She's not alone in doing it to be fair.

Who would...have her as manager?
Yes, highly qualified and isn't she one of top coach's in the woman's game?

Sexism and misogyny is cool on here. If you banned that you may as well shut down the site, it's the last bastion of the insecure modern man.what_no_pies wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 6:12 amThe amount of stuff we can't discuss on here nowadays yet this is accepted. Disgusting hypocrisy.
In the 80s, you'd have got the same 'chill out', 'it's only a laugh' reaction to racism, so by 2051 maybe it'll get treated the same way. Or maybe not.

Re: Emma Hayes
We're certainly not encouraged to have sensible conversations around important (but sometimes uncomfortable) issues. If this gets pulled now it would be for that very reason rather than the fact a professional sportsperson was objectified.NottsClaret wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 9:02 amSexism and misogyny is cool on here. Re: Emma Hayes
So the fact that Emma Hayes is a woman means she is not allowed to be criticised? OK>
Re: Emma Hayes
There's been a concerted campaign against the object for the past 60 years.
Look at current car design... Get a lump of indeterminate matter, photograph it through a Waterford cut-glass crystal vase, get a pseudo subjective interpretation of the photo with Google A.I. Neural Networks software and hey presto the Tata Bubble.
And whatever you think of Emma Hayes (whoever she is), 'She got wheels.'

Re: Emma Hayes
It’s the new cancel culture, someone will always be offended by something someone said. I haven’t watched a single minute of buildup, it’s wokeness irritates me.
Re: Emma Hayes
It's a miracle some on here ever got married, had a girlfriend or had kids.
She says 'Do you find me sexy darling?
He says 'Well I'm against the objectification of your body. If we must copulate, do you mind if we discuss the fiscal stimulus, or the geo-political situation in Indo China as we do so as to make sure I don't class you as a piece of meat'
She 'If we must darling, do you like my boobs?'
He 'They look like perfectly functioning mammaries for breastfeeding'
She 'I've shaven down below lover boy'
He 'That's very hygienic. May I recommend something for shaving rash'
She 'I want to ride you like a cowboy'
He 'Interesting fact about cowboys. In the 1870's...'
For the record. If you think men are bad. Women are far, far, far worse when it comes to objectifying men. I did six years entertaining in parties (many hen do's) and they really don't need men being offended on their behalf. They are a lot worse.

Not sure why it is sexist to slag off a woman pundit when the likes of Jenas, Hartson and Murphy get abused constantly?

Re: Emma Hayes
I’d agree with that. But I’m watching the game on now and she just doesn’t shut up. Almost as bad as Lee Hendrie.
As Richie Benaud used to say on cricket that the art of good commentary is knowing when to say nothing.

I sometimes think female commentators feel they have to justify their position in the men’s game.
Emma has a very good knowledge of the game and less ego than many male commentators

Was thinking it must be his twin sister! Male or female is irrelevant. The voice tone is monotonous and dull, the commentary contribution is pitiful. In a fair world, that person would not commentate again.Stockbrokerbelt wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 6:40 pmShut you’re eyes & you would think it was Glen Hoddle.
