We usually start at the bottom - when we had that tough start four years ago we struggled to get on tv.

Cannot complain. For me during Lockdown there was just too much soccer on TV.To the extent it lost its impact on me

I’d agree with that but there had to be the facility for supporters to watch their teams.

Why? They both have a bigger global fan base and uk tv fans than most of the non top six combined.

Let’s be honest though, it’s because of the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal we get so much money.

That won't happen because games against Wolves and Manchester United are on Amazon Prime

Would that be the Man Utd away game after Christmas? My boss has a box at Old Trafford and we have been wanting to go for the past couple of years but with COVID and midweek games it hasn't been possible. Hoping it will stay on the same day and a no later than 17:30 kick off.

That’s the one. Dates/times are due to be confirmed on 11th October but they’ve just been late with the November schedule.

I don't know the monetary difference between Aresnals 19 appearances and our 9, but one couldn't have a clearer indication of how the league is being manipulated.

A sad reflection of our popularity or our ability of drawing the tv public.
But I do believe were we higher up in the league then possibly we would get more coverage.
Our honeymoon period with the TV pundits/ punters is now definitely over, luckily our season has not yet run its course.

EDIT: Its all based on money anyway.

No surprise, majority of our games are a horrible watch for a neutral. Plus games at the Turf aren't really attractive for a TV audience (weary looking Bob Lord stand, half empty Jimmy Mac Lower).

We've been higher up the league and still been right down there in terms of TV appearances.

If we don't get chosen for Liverpool at home then there is little hope.
Next one may be Newcastle at home last game of the season.

The February televised have been chosen

The only reason the Liverpool game has moved to Sunday is because they now play Leicester on Thursday (on BT)

The obvious big club bias and not surprised at that but my genuine question is why are the cheating gooners so consistently top? They’ve won nothing for ages, they haven’t troubled the top 3 in years, they are not the best to watch and at times this season have been downright poor. What do this dreadful football club have to offer.
Incidentally why are the club who are firmly entrenched at the foot of the table and the club who are in free fall and just been done for seven at City sitting nicely mid table together on twice as many appearances as us. The whole thing is a bit naff really.

I doubt that playing style comes into it bud. Arsenal are consistently top. No one is convincing me they are there on style and content.

Isn't it blindingly obvious why we are bottom of the TV appearance league and the likes of Arsenal at the top? The Gooners have millions of armchair, glory hunting fans all over the world, plus a stadium full of people who pay circa £2000k a year for their season tickets and have a waiting list, whereas Burnley had 4000 empty seats in the home sections on Sunday, and there will be even more tonight.
