Why would England play France?
If England win the Group and France finish second in theirs.

England will beat the Czechs at a canter. France will win.

Maguire returning at the heart of the defence has to be viewed as a positive, Mings has done well in his absence, but you'd always prefer your 1st choice centre half pairing to be together if at all possible, and HM needs the 90 minutes tonight will hopefully provide.

Top of the group.
No goals conceded.
Play at Wembley in the last 16.
Sterling netted again, 2 in 3 games for him now.

We've not been brilliant but we've not had to be.

Some promising performances.
Plus we are not Scotland.

We've not been brilliant true, but we've eased through the group without breaking sweat, and we can only hope England have another gear to find.

The good aspect is we're proving tough to break down, and clean sheets aren't to be sniffed at, but we will need to raise our game whoever we face in the last 16.

There will be bigger tests ahead, but so far so good I suppose even if it's been tedious to watch at times.
