Are you saying they paid the fees owed in 19/20? Or didn’t and we’re still payable? If they’d missed a payment it might explain the price we’ve been able to agree.
I am saying that the accounts for 2019/20 are showing that there is £2.4m outstanding on transfer fees inward (no indication of who it is from) and that the 2018/19 accounts showed that we had no debt beyond the 2019/20 accounts.

So the assumption you could draw is they asked to defer the £2.4m payment owed?

Thanks. Very interesting. May explain why this one has been done early and relatively easy to broker.

May also mean that we have had a relatively low initial outlay? If they owed us £2.4m maybe we only needed to put another couple of million in this summer.

Only if the someone is Stoke, there are only rumours - no one with credibility has declared it is them that I am aware of

It will be a good day when we sign someone who dosent play for Stoke.

Hope this lad is a good one, does he play right back or just centre back?

Id definitely loan Dan James from United if we can for our right hand side.

Would we send someone to pick Dan James up and bring him to Burnley then give Utd a ring and tell them we are taking him on loan whether they like it or not? 😁
