Grand, I pretty much missed the first one because of the footy, look forward to catching this one. Hopefully a decent game- weather looks decent down in Cardiff.

Comfortable win for England last night, and a great knock from Jos, you'd expect more of the same tonight as England just look in a different league to Sri Lanka in this format.

Yes they do, however India will be a completely different proposition, and how England fare against a side of their quality will give us more of an idea of our prospects for the upcoming T20 WC.

India will be tough. Amazing how SL have dropped but not so long ago they had a team full of top players who have all now retired.

Clear to see why they’re ranked 8th. The gulf in class was huge yesterday and should expect more of the same tonight.

Sri Lanka win toss and bat first, Buttler & Woakes out for England, Billings and Willey come in, this just illustrates the strength in depth which England now possess.

Wicket for England already, and a run out to boot, great work in the field by Sam Curran.

15-1 after 3.

68-3 in the 13th, SL need to get a move on here if they're going to set any kind of target.

BBC commentary is amateur .....

We have had a ‘Sam’ Livingstone catch and a stumping by Buttler
(who is not even playing)

This is pathetic from SL, they'll be lucky to post 3 figures at this rate, truly one-sided contest, the only thing England can take out of these games is it's effectively a warm up for the tougher tests that lie ahead.

There's room for the T20 or The Hundred in the game, but there isn't run for both, unless the CC is dispensed with, and I wouldn't completely rule that out from happening over the next few years as the shorter forms of the game take precedence, now whether that's better for the game is up for debate, but that's the way it's heading I'm afraid.

Meanwhile a couple of early scalps for SL, 10-2 Bairstow & Malan back in the hutch, you just can't rely on these Yorkies can you, even the fake ones are no use.

The used pitch playing a role maybe, but even allowing for that the batting on both sides has been terrible.

England should still coast home though 112 isn't a difficult target with the depth of batting we have.

Yes England making hard work of what should be an easy chase, terrible shot by the skipper. why is it always the worst deliveries which often take the wickets.

Roy gone now, what is going on. 36-4.

I'd much rather see a low scoring game that goes to the wire than a high-scoring but one-sided affair.

It's the same pitch they played on yesterday, but it can't have deteriorated that quickly surely, they've only bowled about 70 overs on it.

Rain stops play, I assume England are ahead on D/L but it's not always easy to tell.

It'll be a shame if they don't get back out could still be a close finish with another wicket or two for SL.

Aye England were shown as being 3/4 ahead at the start of that over that they came off (if I saw that correctly).

34 needed off 6 overs that should be simple from here, and arguably the rain delay has marginally favoured England, though we'd probably have won fairly comfortably anyway, at least Sri Lanka have made a game of this tonight, and they've managed to restore some pride if nothing else.

Three balls of absolute village from Billings there.

The 4 LBs and good previous over should see that it isn't too costly

Buttler won it last night, Livingstone tonight...... Meanwhile, Cymbals Barstow got a duck, and one of Yorkshire's many cockneys, Malan, scored 4.

Had that sinking feeling at first thinking it was only on BBC2, then happily seen it was on Sky and was spared the bitter dickhead Vaughan

Not a bad game, more even than the 1st one Sri Lanka poor again though with the bat
