Great news - pleased with this (despite only knowing what I’ve read about him, which sounds very promising).

Hopefully he proves to be as good, if not better than, the likes of Keane, Mee and Tarkowski.

Makes it harder for other clubs to hold us to ransom for a JT replacement after he's left.

There's going to be some pressure on the lad though, if we've shelled out £Undisclosed for him, that'd make him our joint most expensive signing.

Pace and the board putting their money where their mouth is. Real statement of intent is this one. Lets hope he can fulfill the potentoal reputation he has. I am sure he will. But kudos to the club for getting this one over the line! Exactly the type of signing we needed on paper.

There appears to be a potential squad rebuild which may become too big at once, if we have outgoings too.

Eg Tarkowski looks a likely out. Dunne too. At least 2 centre backs in. Dodgy at back for a bit!

Pope could be wooed away. Big money transfer. New keeper needs to build relationship with team and back 4.

Strengthening nos anyway could well see the likes of Andros Andros Townsend and others, funded by Pope sale.

Fingers crossed we get them in and out quick and settle in pre-season.
