England v. The Rest of The World
England v. The Rest of The World
It looks like we're losing, but we still have the standard language for air traffic control and we set the time at Greenwich Meantime along with Longitude and Latitude.

Good line up R o W, I'm not familiar with that England team, it looks like an experimental line up.
Re: England v. The Rest of The World
If memory serves me correctly I think Denis Law scored for the Rest of the World team, also I seem to remember rushing home from school to watch the end of the game on tv. Midweek 3pm kick off I seem to remember?

I’ve been impressed by Masopust in Euro 2020 for the Czechs. Grandson presumably?

Unrelated to the original Masopust I believe at least according to the Commentary on ESPNCharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 1:10 amI’ve been impressed by Masopust in Euro 2020 for the Czechs. Grandson presumably?

Re: England v. The Rest of The World
Funny how this website makes me look things up. I remember Tony Waiters in goal in some of my earliest matches. I didn’t realise that he’d retired and was only playing because we didn’t have a recognised backup keeper. Always seemed more assured than Peter Mellor who scared me to death.

Re: England v. The Rest of The World
I seem to recall Alex Elder being part of the Rest Of The World squad or is it me getting confused again?
