Draw for local clubs in 2021/22 FA Cup

Extra Preliminary Round (7th August)
Barnoldswick Town v Runcorn Town
Padiham v AFC Liverpool

winners receive £1,125 prize money, losers receive £375

Preliminary Round (21st August)
Longridge Town or Northwich Victoria v Clitheroe
Barnoldswick Town or Runcorn Town v Ramsbottom United
Padiham or AFC Liverpool v Bootle
Trafford v Colne

winners receive £1,444 prize money, losers receive £481

And in theory they could go all the way to the final. Still a great competition.

Have to be senior standard so step 6 of non league and above.

I have played in the FA Cup early rounds, as I'm sure plenty of you have, I have to say there really is something a bit special about it for a non-professional player.

The FA Cup is great at that level, seen a few cracking games in the last few years. Haven’t watched us in the Cup for ages.

I used to play for Clitheroe when Adam Blacklaw was manager, yonks ago.

Hope they do it as far as they can.

Getting through just a couple of rounds in the FA Cup early stages is massive for clubs at that level with the prize money available.

The Vase draw was also made the same day. Prize money not as good as the FA Cup but getting through 3 or 4 rounds of that is a good haul for clubs.
