Thomas Robert at Salford
Reports that he’s failed to win a deal at Burnley and is now training with Salford
Re: Thomas Robert at Salford
seems same happened with Celtic, as we all know lot's of trialists have been around the U23's, will be interesting to see who is still standing when the dust settles soon, but I wish him well.
Must be very difficult with having a famous father and trying to follow in his footsteps, always judging yourself whether you're as good or not, let alone the masses comparing, yet some have done well in dealing with it.

A friend knows Thomas very well and told me that he’s a very good player with a great work ethic before and after training. However, he said that he loves a theatrical dive (abit weak) so don’t think this message board would have liked him...

Maybe not, but these days it makes for a good Premier League player!Richardsbfc wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 6:49 amA friend knows Thomas very well and told me that he’s a very good player with a great work ethic before and after training. Richardson dived a couple of times on Saturday, so obvious I think it cost Max Thompson a penalty later in the game.
The ref obviously thought we were all premier league diving sods.

They'd love him because no matter how much a Burnley player dives it's not cheating if they do it for Burnley.Richardsbfc wrote: ↑Tue Jul 27, 2021 6:49 amA friend knows Thomas very well and told me that he’s a very good player with a great work ethic before and after training. Not sure whether he was offered anything at Salford, but the Daily Record have reported: "But Robert hasn't been interested in sticking around in hope of a UK club offering a contract as he's now signed for second-tier Belgian side Royal Excel Mouscron. The winger has penned a deal until the summer of 2023, with the option of a further year. "
