Now I know he has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons this past few days.

However it isn’t getting any better today, with only 9 first team players available for the weekend, Rooney took out Jason Knight( tenuous Burnley transfer link) in training. Knight is expected to be out for 3 months.

Flipping heck...taking out your own players, a very different managerial approach to Mr Dyche!

I see the potato headed syrup wearing lothario has been at it again .While I feel a tad sorry for him getting stitched up yet again by these erm “ party girls “ ( I mean who wouldn’t want action with this grade of nubile totty?) you ‘d really think though after 20 yrs in the spotlight of publicity and a gazzilion indiscretions ,he’d at least be wise to the potential fallout .

Got to be his ego at play here. When the "party girls" chase him- he sees it as being due to his attractive appearance and sizzling personality. He cant see that they are only after media coverage/social media stories/ blackmail opportunities etc. He'll never learn.

As the tabloids are sticking the boot in, why not join in? "Took out" is about as sensational language as any of the red tops would use. Makes it sound like a studs-up, knee-high challenge.

I assume that you have seen the challenge? If so can you explain what happened for those of us that haven't please?

If Colleen finally divorced him he might rue that Knight wasn't the only thing he took out of late.

It must be great having someone at the club who the youngsters can look up to.

the fact that he has had a wig literally sewn onto his bonce shows just how silly he is.

how anyone could take this twit seriously as being able to manage anything is bonkers.

and he's as thick as beans.

I wouldn't allow him in manage our current mediocre crop of runner beans, never mind a Championship club.

A 50-50 challenge being reported. Nothing I have seen suggesting that Rooney "took him out".

I wonder when Wayne Rooney will begin to regret taking the Derby gig, that club is a basket case, and they're heading down the leagues at a rate of knots, they were incredibly fortunate to survive last season, but I can't see them being so lucky again.

The problem for Derby is can they afford to sack him, I suspect not with their precarious financial plight, so for better or worse they're stuck with each other.

Classic. Not been his best week

Recall us being called a tinpot club by their fans when we were first linked with Knight. Okay then!

This has to be the last straw. Married, father of four, what the hell were you even doing with/near young girls no matter in a hotel room.

It’s so disrespectful to his wife and children.

Moron.

I'm not defending him, the guy's a plonker. However, I wonder if the media and your own reactions would have been the same if a female celebrity had her photo taken whilst asleep in a hotel room with men taking their clothes off and posing with said unconscious female.

I suspect not.

The argument of 'she shouldn't have gotten in to that situation' wouldn't wash either.

Isn't there a saying lie down with dogs you'll get fleas ? There is a threshold that people in relationships shouldn't cross, in fact they shouldn't want to cross. If he wants to behave like a wealthy any holes a goal sort of bloke then leave his wife and dont embarrass her anymore.

I can go off the respect I show my wife, the respect she shows me, and most importantly the respect we have together for our family. You just don’t put yourself in those situations.

Blackmail complaint has been dropped.

Meanwhile his wife and kids will probably go on another holiday once she's finished her court case against Mrs Vardy to get over what her Wayne has done, again.

Then we have to sit back and wait for it all to happen again...

I read on Twitter that Rooney earns 4.5m a year as Derby manager. Bonkers if true.

Basket case of a club.
