NICK POPE UPDATE
Do we have any news on his operation and recovery. There is usually something said following medical operations on our team-like "we are happy with progress" or "the operation was successful". Seems to have been nothing said about Nick which naturally causes concern about a very valid team member. Bear in mind that SD indicated when his knee operations was first confirmed that it was a relatively minor operation and he could still make the Euros.I hope it does not become similar to Barnes's need for a hernia operation and how long that dragged on for. The fact we have brought in Hennessy just gives that doubt that any injury to Nick might not be short term

If we hadn’t let BPF go then maybe you would have a point, but there’s no way we would go into the season with only 2 keepers if that’s the case, regardless of opinions on BPF & Norriswarksclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 11:35 amThe fact we have brought in Hennessy just gives that doubt that any injury to Nick might not be short term
