He will do well to get a mid table championship club, but like all that leave us, good luck to him.

Derby seem to be short of wide players

Read an article t’other day. Ireland manager Stephen Kenny saying he is still in rehab but he wants him fit for the squad.

Re: Robbie Brady
It will be a relief not to have worry about when and whether Robbie breaks down next season . No ill feeling meant to the player

Re: Robbie Brady
Can't see him lasting 46 games in the Championship so League of Ireland looks his best bet.

What’s Robbie done to deserve that?

Scotland be a good bet if he can’t get a decent champ club , his injuries are a major issue and I’d imagine we’ll be lucky to get chump change

He'd be injured in the first training session by that meathead of a manager

Robbie is still in rehab following the Achilles injury. It’s one that’s ended a number of careers, recently Jonathan Walters at Burnley. Whatever happens I hope he can get fit and playing again soon.

Re: Robbie Brady
If Lennon was still in charge of Celtic he'd have probably came up here, but I haven't seen any rumours linking him to Celtic since Lenny's departure from Parkhead.AlargeClaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 7:26 pmScotland be a good bet if he can’t get a decent champ club , his injuries are a major issue and I’d imagine we’ll be lucky to get chump change
Given that many Championship clubs are trying to trim their squads, and also clear their decks of many high earners, I doubt he'll be offered big money from any Champ clubs especially with his recent history of long term injuries, and his advancing years now.
A Championship club is more likely to try and blood a youngster, who they might be able to develop and make a profit on a year or two down the line, than fork out wages on a guy who's barely kicked a ball in anger for about 3 years now.
A real shame that we only got to see brief glimpses of what Robbie could do in a Burnley shirt, before that cruel injury he suffered at Leicester, and sadly he's never been the same player since that day.
I hope for his sake that he can get himself a decent move even if only to prolong his career for another season or two.

This is exactly why footballers have to be greedy. A small moment could potentially end your career.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 7:37 pmRobbie is still in rehab following the Achilles injury. Still annoys me when Robinson crocked Gudmundsson last season. I love a good tackle, but it was reckless and really didn't help us in our poor start last year.

Re: Robbie Brady
Right in front of the assistant too and not even a foul given. Had that been a league game with VAR then Robinson would have received a red card.superdimitri wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 2:35 amThis is exactly why footballers have to be greedy. A small moment could potentially end your career.
