I was asked recently (although I can't find the post) if I could put something on site listing our goalscorers in the Premier League.
It's done and ready to go online and I'm almost there with a page showing then number of appearances for each player and a third page listing how many games have been allocated to each referee - we even brought in Peter Walton for one Premier League game.
Are there any more suggestions of things I could add?

Re: Burnley's Premier League Stats
I would love to have a 'Firsts, Lasts and Record Breakers' section - listing all the firsts and lasts in Burnley's history. The chronological list also includes important milestones, formation of Division Two, World War One, Premier League formation, Champions League re-shuffle, VAR introduction, Covid-19. List all the managers comings and goings, promotions, relegations, Chairman, new stands all the major parts of our history from 1882 to today.
Forgive the dates, I don't have record book in front of me... they are just an approximate

I think that's a brilliant idea that can be built up.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 5:07 pmI would love to have a 'Firsts, Lasts and Record Breakers' section - listing all the firsts and lasts in Burnley's history. But this one is just for the 'Football started in 1992' group.

Re: Burnley's Premier League Stats
Whilst not stats, and enjoying making work for others, I've often thought showing historic match reports written at the time would make interesting reading. For example I recall reading a report of the 1962 Cup Final by Brian Granville (he had a certain way with words). I imagine a report of our first ever league game would be a good read. It needn't be just big games but interesting ones too, such as clashes with our good friends down the road.
The attraction would be not just match reports, but them being written in the language of the day.

Re: Burnley's Premier League Stats
Don't know if this is of any interest to anyone but each season I like to keep a track of how we've done in comparison to our other PL seasons on a week by week basis, which results in the following graphs (the black line is the most recent):
1. Points total:
2. League Position:
3. Goals Scored:
4. Goals Conceded:
5. Goal Difference:
